They were gentle, just what I needed for my son's family. Brandon made a date with us and met us in a wooded area. Before I even showed up for the shoot I made sure that I expressed my anxiety via email about actually being in front of the camera for once. Marly's response was quick and totally put me at ease about any physical insecurities I was afraid would show up in High-Definition in front of the camera. She also gave me advice about what I should wear (makeup, wardrobe, and accessories) that would look good in front of the camera. I felt better going in but still very nervous. When I got there Marly was very patient with me as I had felt my face would do this weird nervous twitch as soon as the camera came out. Marly suggested we play some of my favorite songs I had downloaded on my phone which really helped me relax. Her encouraging words throughout the shoot helped me with my awkwardness :-) The equipment she used was quite impressive and she certainly knew how to use it. Overall, Marly made a nerve wrecking and potentially disastrous experience one that was pleasant and dare I say enjoyable. The pictures came out crisp and beautiful. It was hilarious and different but absolutely loved it!! We also both love nature and like to spend time outdoors. He took us to a magical place that is relaxing and unforgettable. We had a specific time of the day to perform our photo shoot, unfortunately, we were running late and my wife was very worried if we would have enough time to fit all our plans. At the same time Serge had other appointments after our photo shoot. He called to check on us to see if everything was as planned. We then explained the situation. Took it so calm and professionally that he understood what we were going through. This helped build back our confidence and encouraged us to continue as we talk about. Planning for a huge photshoot does take alot of time and energy to make it perfect. We reached out to Molly and David via email and first met David in his studio in Frederick. The space is so super cool that I wanted it to be apart of my house. It was this cool industrial space that makes you say "whoa this place rocks!" David completed a custom quote for us since we didn't need a full day photographer and we found it very fair. Payment was easy over their website and Molly was great at communicating with us about timeframes for everything. We scheduled David far in advance. After we secured our date, we received a coffee mug and a small bag of coffee in the mail to say thank you. I loved the personal touch. It made my day. Then at Christmas time we received a tree ornament with both our names and est. year. Again, super cute awesome thoughtful idea. Tha day of the event, Molly and David were at the location well before the scheduled time and stayed well after when they should have. My guests loved them both and their photo booth that they brought with them. I would work with them again in a heartbeat. As a matter of fact, I have a professional event coming up and are using Spence again! 3/7/18 To Martin's,…read moreMy name is Latonia Weathers and I am sending this letter of sincere gratitude on behalf of my family that rented the Martin's Westminster on January 13, 2018 for my mother's 80th birthday party. I would like to apologize for taking this long to send this letter. We have had a few deaths in our family to deal with and I am just now able to get my thoughts together. I would like to begin with thanking Ms. Kitty who I dealt with regarding the payments. This event was put on by 7 siblings, and 19 grandchildren, each paying a portion and living all over the United States. So the headache of that situation was handled with sincere grace and professionalism by Ms. Kitty. She never showed any frustration, even though I was ready to strangle my family. Secondly, and not in order of appreciation, we would like to thank Mr. Richard who was the EVERYTHING to the event. He was so accommodating to my craziness. I am a very very particular person whose OCD really gets out of control sometimes, and he never wavered in his professionalism. I kept changing things, and adding things, and requesting things, and needing things and on and on....and he always said, yes we can do that. Even up to the day of the event...he made so many accommodations for me and my family. He has the best temperament for a person in his position, because you never know when he is fed up with your request and changes. And now to the event!! When I chose the Westminster location it was because of the price, so I did not think we would get the same service that I was used to getting at the Security location which I have been in attendance dozens of times. WRONG!! I can't put into words how we were treated at this event by the staff of Martins Westminster. Every request, change and extras were done to perfection; and it was so beautifully decorated. The food was delicious and well-seasoned (which was one of my many requests). The interactions that my guest had with the staff were pleasant and professional. The event was a memorable one for my Mother (Ms Ella Byrd), that she calls me every day to reminisce about it. I will choose this location over All the Martin's locations. I have absolutely NO complaints (and that's big for me) with regards to my dealings with Martin's Westminster and would recommend it over and over. Bob was awesome, along with everyone helping this past Sunday night! Totally seamless, took care of us, high attention to detail and making us know we were in good hands! Let's also mention the AMAZINGly delicious food that we got many compliments on. I was hesitant about doing a buffet, but SO glad we did! And always get the crab cakes! We had a tuxedo cake with a caramel flavored filling and got many compliments. The DJ (DJDELIGHTS) was also awesome! They played all the songs we wanted and kept the dance floor busy!
