I was hot and tired and frustrated so I paid my bill tipped because I'm a good guy. When I got home, everyone in the family told me how bad it looked and how bad the cut was. The experience isn't always consistent as far as how much is taken off around his mustache and how low his beard is trimmed. The location is similar to every other location as far as aesthetics goes. For a quick shape up this is your go to spot. It's unfortunate that he didn't receive the same consistent great service each visit but he also is always in a ball cap or cowboy hat too lol.

I love that this is locally owned. The vibe inside is contemporary barbershop, safe talk for kids, each stylist focused on their own person. We live about 20 minutes away but it's worth the drive. I got tired of sitting down in the chair and being asked "what's your number" which I'd never heard before since I was accustomed to barbers and stylist who only used scissors for most of the cut. Vivian took the time, was very personable and she used scissors to even up my thinning hair, rather than electric clippers, plus the scalp and neck massage were great and I've always appreciated getting my hair washed after the final cutting, rather than a talc covered brush to remove the clippings and stop up my nose! When we lived in Prosper I belonged to a couple of men's styling salons (Boardroom, Gent's Place) where I got this level of service, and I don't mind paying for it, but until now I just couldn't find anyone who would take the time to do it right. I've never had a salon add a charge that way. It was unethical and sneaky I also had trouble booking online, so I called. I paid extra for an offer that included a second haircut at no charge. No one told me the second appointment had to be **within four weeks**, and I wasn't given a card or anything explaining that deadline. I would never have bought the offer if I'd known. When I called to book the second cut after five weeks, I was told they couldn't honor it because I was one week past the deadline. The person I spoke with said they would ask a manager, given that the restriction hadn't been explained to me. No one ever called me back, even though I called twice. The haircut itself was okay, but it absolutely was not worth $65, an undisclosed fee, and a tip. The sneaky service fee, sketchy promotion, & lack of follow-up made the experience considerably worse. I expect a salon charging these prices to be upfront about its fees and the terms of what it sells. Obviously a business that relies on heavy one-time fees with no expectations of return clientele.
