Our meal took way longer than expected, but it was enjoyable when it finally came. The chicken kiev was perfectly golden brown on the outside and the fries were great, and while the rice was lovely, I didn't feel it fit the meal. With that said, everyone liked their meal and I'd come back here again for another casual meal be it lunch or dinner. They have their own on site parking out the back, or there's plenty out front. At the reception, the food was excellent, the arrangements went smoothly, and we had many favourable comments from guests about how enjoyable the reception was. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, and Julia and Dearna made every effort to ensure the event went well. The accommodation was very satisfactory and our request for an early breakfast next day for 15 at 8:00 AM was met without difficulty. Because of guests coming from interstate we needed a number of cots and highchairs and these were available where and when we needed them.

A part of me was expecting the establishments down here to be on the high end of classy - it turns out that this isn't actually the case. To be honest I wasn't really all that impressed with this place, it simply felt like your typical suburban pub with a nice restaurant (okay, it does have that going for it) a gaming room, and a sports bar (which was pretty crowded). Honesty, even if I lived down here, this isn't really the type of place I'd be visiting all that often (unless, of course, if it happens to be around the corner).
