I'm extremely thankful there's still a dedicated party store in the area. Let's start with the service. We had one very kind and friendly lady, who was working alone on New Year's Eve. You can't get any better service than her. It's got a reasonably good atmosphere. While slightly cramped, it's nothing you can't easily move around in. As for their product selection, it's pretty large. I felt like they covered all major holidays/events, with reasonable prices. My Mom and I went in about an hour before closing, and still got great service plus the products we needed. I had balloons filled with helium at The Main Event on a Saturday afternoon for a party I was hosting the next afternoon. When I got up early Sunday morning, the day of the party, the balloons had lost air and were on the floor. I went to The Main Event again to purchase their balloons filled with helium. They were more expensive than the day previous. By the next day, they were also losing air and had fallen almost to the ground. I do not recommend purchasing any ballon at this place. read more

Very impressed with the customer service here. I live in Eugene, OR but was having my daughter's birthday party in Kelso. My Amazon order got delayed and I was panicking trying to find spiderman decorations. I called the store and Becky was kind enough to send my pictures to my phone of what they had since I wasn't in town yet, set what I needed aside, and let me pay over the phone so I could have someone in town pick up. On top of all that, she came in on her day off (the day after Christmas) to fill our balloon order because the helium wouldn't have lasted from Friday to Sunday in the latex balloons.
