Each plate stood on its own and showcased the kitchen's attention to detail and flavor. The drinks were immaculate -- balanced, smooth, and thoughtfully crafted. We Googled nearby bakeries and this one was within walking distance. However, it's on a street that we know to be a residential area with only houses. I called the bakery to confirm the address but when I couldn't reach anyone we decided to make the ten minute walk and just answer our questions in person. Yelp directions took us to a house with no posted signs or indication that a business is housed here. We decided against taking it any further by knocking on the door. I looked up the company later and thought I'd found an IG business profile but that page is no longer active. I wasn't able to find any other information. I feel that a one-star rating must be earned so I gave two as my neutral rating. I love supporting small businesses, start-ups, woman owned, and kid owned businesses. Small businesses are awesome. The employee you're talking to is likely the CEO, you get handwritten notes and special wrapping, and they're always so appreciative of your business. Small businesses deserve a chance so I'm really hoping to update this to five stars later.
