I'm a strange dude, I'll be the first to admit to that. I've never been one to like anything that…read moredraws attention from the masses. I never watched Lord of the Rings or Game of Thrones because every last loser on earth was all about it. The Beatles fucking suck and Bruce Springsteen can go shit in his hat. Pumpkin spice is for pumpkin pie and that's it, no matter what these dizzy suburban women say. So the decision to visit Johnny Longhots today was based entirely on poor reviews. The guy who ordered a sandwich to the hospital and found a cheesesteak to be "greasy" deserves to contract MRSA during his stay. The dope who complained his fries were soggy ordered his shit off Door Dash. He's lucky the driver didn't eat all of his fries. The folks who called out the teenagers who are getting their first experience working can all get bent. You weren't perfect when you had your first job. Don't forget people like you willingly locked kids in their homes during covid. It's no wonder some of them struggle with social skills and working under pressure. Have a little grace, then eat a bag of dicks for not being patient to them. Don't get me started on that dipshit from Brooklyn. That person who rated the place a one for the soda? I already know who you vote for. Onto the food - the menu is huge. There are a ton of choices with something for just about everyone. There's even gluten free options for those fucking people. There were four or five sandwiches in the running, but it was the Gritty Cheesesteak that ultimately won out on my first visit. And that's a strange decision for me because the Flyers stink and their fans are even worse. They're the worst organization in hockey. Maybe I just wanted fries on my sandwich. Yea - that's it. So the Gritty is a good amount of beef, fries tossed in Old Bay and topped with white cheddar cheese sauce atop a seeded roll. I added fried onions. The sandwich scores higher than the Flyers. I was a fan of the seeded roll which was super fresh. The cheese sauce was tasty and complemented the fries really well. They were super crispy, well seasoned and plentiful. The beef wasn't the best I've ever had, but it was tender and cooked well. All-in-all a good sandwich. The gals up front were attentive and friendly. They took my order quickly. Hats off to the kitchen for getting my food out promptly among the online orders. The place was pretty clean and had a ton of Philly Sports pics on the wall. The music on the radio was some throwback stuff - thank God it wasn't any of that mumble rap shit most kids play these days. Johnny's has a bunch of lunch specials that look worthwhile and a decent value. Locally owned spot worth giving your business to. It's a 4-star review from me that gets bumped to a 5 to spite the mopes who gave it a one.

It is December 29th not Christmas or a Holiday it is a Monday for working people . And I definitely called the store when my items were missing as a manager onsite you were definitely aware of this unless you were not in the store . But I definitely was placed on hold for this to be discussed to be told sorry they are here waiting for you NO manager came to the phone And if you read my review wasn't mad or upset over the long wait . I kept trying to love this place . But I think tonight is the last time I'll order from here . Order should have been ready at 6:25 it wasn't . Which understandable could have been a busy night . So went to get some pickles it was empty ask was told they would be right out . Food wasn't done till 7 . So 35 minutes late which I was still fine with it . Never got the pickles . What killed it was getting home with missing a sandwich and a side . And having to go all the way back wasting more of my time and gas . Kinda sucks since they are the only one in the area with a decent steak sandwich

Stuck in the back of the shopping center with Marrazzo's and Sal DeForte's, right next door to a ramen noodle shop, these friendly folks are hospitable and enjoy conversing with their customers. After a few questions I ordered their "The Dragon," burger combo. They do smash burgers here, and the finished sandwich looked like a half pounder in an oversized bun, with plenty of heat from cherry peppers, jalapeños, onions, topped with spicy mayo and creole cole slaw with a hint of mango to offset the flames. It needed no ketchup nor additional contributions, and was delicious from bite one. All the parts played very well together. A little drippy to be sure, but easily managed. It came with a pile of crisp waffle fries that did require a squirt of ketchup, but were able second mates to the main beefy attraction. This was a very enjoyable meal, that would only be complemented by the house being better suited for eating in, right when everything is at its apex of perfection. Shitzz n Glizzies has the potential to compete with the big burger guys in the area. Will have to let you know about their franks and steaks at another time, but there is reason for optimism.

Review for Meatheadz - Lawrence Township, NJ…read more After hearing a NJ Transit conductor rave about Meatheadz, I finally decided to check it out--and I'm glad I did. This place absolutely lives up to the hype. I went with the Plain cheesesteak with fried onions and pepper jack cheese on a seeded bun, along with an order of Meatheadz loaded fries. Let me just say, that cheesesteak was a monster. Fresh, perfectly cooked, and swimming in melty cheese--it's easily the best cheesesteak I've had outside of Philly. The portion was so generous I could barely finish it, and for anyone arriving hungry, you definitely won't leave that way. The loaded fries looked fantastic too, but I had to box them up for later (that's how filling the sandwich was). The prices were moderate and fair for what you get, and while the place was busy, the energy felt lively rather than chaotic. All in all, Meatheadz is absolutely worth the trip if you're craving an authentic cheesesteak experience. Rating: 4.25 out of 5

It is set up for a hostile environment with huge menu boards on the walls, except where the southern wall is all glass refrigeration units full of suds and other alcohol related imbibements. It sits in the crotch of Morrisville, Pa., and directly behind La Villa, a decent Italian restaurant that used to be a Pizza Hut back in the day. I saw their sign for Italian Hot Dogs, and being an aficionado of this locally created sandwich masterpiece, I was very curious about how Sam put his together. This is the definitive dive beer walkaway joint. I went back to the smushed together tables in the back and took a seat facing the door after ordering through the small window in the wall that separated the kitchen from the hoi polloi. While waiting I found a cold bottle of Pineapple Juice Soda, something rare to most fast foods around here. The doubled paper plate arrived with a large Italian roll loaded with a fat frank, chunky fried potato, green pepper, onion and smears of hot mustard that had dried somewhat in the oven, making it into an interesting coating on the food. The taste was quite good, especially the sausage which was heavy with garlic and retained its juiciness. Gotta admit, I really liked it. Prices - Ridiculously cheap! Sam's is on the borderland between dive and dump. Still, if you don't mind, the extremis atmosphere will not bother you. Just be sure to get out of town before sundown. Sam's crew just might be night wolves.
