I stopped in this sweet little business for breakfast. I had the BEC sandwich on toasted white. The toast could've used a little more time on the grill to get it crispy and less buttery. Called to order a cake. Was placed on hold and forgotten. I could hear everything going on in the background so when the inside customer left with 6 cupcakes for $15.00 and it got silent I waited for another 5 minutes then hung up. Waited another 5 minutes and tried calling back. The line was busy because they never picked it back up after laying it on the counter. I will not just pick up a stale cake that's been sitting for days because the people who run the store can't take a simple phone call. They have a variety of sandwiches; you can get one made fresh or take one out of the fridge, so there's that for convenience. Price is reasonable for what you get. If you want great service, a special dessert or cake for your event; then this is the place to go. Cakes, cupcakes, cookies are all delicious and beautifullly decorated. Their frosting is creamy and light and they can customize your cake to fit your needs. The staff is courteous and pays attention to your desires when ordering. They also make fabulous seasonal cookies especially at Christmas. Their team make a delicious birthday cake for a family member recently and really put extra cake into the decorating. We went there on the 13th of Feb on our way out of town. The kolaches were over cooked and too much dough vs filling. All the cheese ran out the end of mine while baking so the inside was dry. The coffee was off but that could have been hard water and a need to change the water filter. The cookies were hard like they were day old and dry. Thier pimento cheese salad was waaaaay too black peppery. If they reduce the amount of course gepund pepper it still has promise. The bun was sweet and too thick for the sandwich wich in appearance made it look ample, but was awkward to eat. That bun is good with a well seasoned burger and dill pickles. Just not good for pimento cheese. Sourdough would have gone better with it or even rye. Service was friendly enough and prompt. The food was very off from the first time we ate there. Very disappointed with this business establishment for various reasons. I ordered a gender reveal cake to share the wonderful news with all of our family while we were all out eating at a restaurant. When it came time to "reveal"... there was nothing there to reveal. The cake was just their plain piña colada inside with not a trace of blue coloring in it!!! Also, I specifically asked to not have their cream cheese icing changed from what they use on their original piña colada cake, but rather that I only wanted them to dye it pink and blue for the rosette piping on it. Neither of my requests were met. Instead the icing was more of just a whipped cream with a sugar flavor. On the other hand, they are also TERRIBLE with customer service. The owner is extremely rude and flies off the handle in a heart beat. I had never been treated so unfairly by a business like that before. The manager was of no help either. She expected me to RETURN the cake the following day to receive a full refund! Was I supposed to just tell everyone "no you can't have any cake because they messed up my order?" She also proceeded to inform me that the reason why the cake was not blue, was because they didn't have the blue dye....so I guess they took it upon themselves to make the executive decision of not dying it at all and that I should be happy with it. I guess they don't get the point of a "gender reveal cake" nor did it ever cross their minds to give me a call to let me know and discuss alternate options. Not only was I mortified with not having the gender reveal reaction I was hoping for, but I was told by the owner that "it is hard to please every customer 100% every time". It was an experience that I do not wish upon anyone....therefore do not rely on them for a special occasion cake! And if you do, and have any complaints whatsoever, be warned that they do not believe in good customer care. They will make you feel like somehow it is your fault and they will try to do the bare minimum to make things better for you. read more

Aside from the mediocre food, the customer service is absolutely ridiculous. Neither of the girls can crack a smile, let alone say thank you. Wait time is also too long, without any sense of urgency from any of the employees. If it weren't for the convenience of the location, there would be no reason to give them any business. read more

Bought T cakes there which they are famous far,and they were stale,was told by owner they had a 4 day shelf life. As good as the Lunch Box use to be it has expensive stale cookies now read more

This spot has been in this community forever. I can remember eating chicken salad lunches from here as a girl in high school during drill team camp. To this day, they still have great lemon tea cakes. Absolutely nowhere can compete with the lemon tea cakes but unfortunately that's where it stops... I swung by the other day for tea cakes and decided to treat myself to cupcakes. They were about $3 on the outside menu, keep in mind that I wasn't standing inside or I would've seen and known better. When I got the cupcake I was immediately disappointed by the size but didn't have the heart to ask for my money back. The base of the cupcake was about the size of a silver dollar. Still, I'm wanting to be optimistic. When I drove off, I decided to taste it and it completely crumbled from dryness when I unwrapped it. It was not stale, it was just dry. Even the top layer that was touching the icing was dry and the overall consistency was similar to packaged cornbread muffins. Still had a little hope for the icing, after all it was a champagne cupcake. No. The icing was overwhelmingly sweet and had the consistency of actual packaged cream cheese, not cream cheese that's been made into icing, but cream cheese directly out of the Philadelphia foil wrap. Needless to say, it all went into the trash. LunchBox, let's work on those cupcakes and bring them up to snuff with the tea cakes. read more

Had a breakfast burrito for the first time here and I'm disappointed to say it wasn't very appetizing. I got the bacon breakfast burrito and the ingredients used just felt like I was eating at a terrible fast food place, the bacon was subpar, barely any scrambled eggs and there was kraft cheese slices that were half melted and half still cold and as soon as I picked it up to take a bite everything fell out of the bottom. read more

Bought some cupcakes they were stale. When I called they basically questioned me. Took no ownership right away. I mean if I call to say they are stale why would I lie? Then they asked one of the workers when they were made. She said they where made Satuday 05/27/17 and Today the day I purchased them 05/31/17. They even asked me "did you eat then right away?" I mean what? Just looking for an excuse to blame it on me. What a selfish company to even have the nerve to sell something so old... They definitely are not thinking of the customers satisfaction... So I went to return the cupcakes the girl handed me the money and didn't not say "sorry for the bad experience" nothing at all she handed me the money and took the cup cakes and turned around.
