This Filipino restaurant serves up all the classic Filipino dishes that everyone loves. We tried out a variety of items including pork adobo, beef kalderata, lechon, lumpia, pancit, pork bbq sticks, and Paksiw na Pata. Everything was so delicious and flavorful! The *only* complaint I have is that the food on display doesn't have labels. For someone who isn't as familiar with the food, I had to ask what each item was and took note of them, but it definitely would have been more helpful to have some sort of reference. The owner was so sweet, she ran out of pancit (which is what I was really hoping for) and she went out of her way to make some for our table. The restaurant was well-kept and had plenty of seating room. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to try or enjoy Filipino food!

I know this is a landlord problem, but it wasn't a good first impression for a food vendor. Although my family always teases me that I smell things that they don't smell. So it could have been just a me thing, but I digress lol... We ordered 8 dishes. I wish I knew the names. I know there was a beef and onion dish and a beef stew type dish with root vegetables. Tender and both delicious. There was a pork dish with a coconut based stock which was my favorite. Chicken Adobo, a pork stir fry type dish and lastly a pork stew dish with blood in the sauce. Yes, you heard me right. If you like blood sausage this is right up your alley. Both of the pork dishes (stir fry and blood sauce) were a little too salty for me personally, but tasty otherwise. The lumpia was good and we had a side of rice and pancit. The pancit was just okay for me. The woman who helped us was awesome and very patient with us. Explaining all the dishes we had questions about. Overall a good experience. Glad to see multiple Filipino restaurants opening up around town.

The vibes are nice and quiet (unless you're like us and go with a loud group of women), and the staff was amazing. Jordan was patient and the right amount of attentive. We had 6 or 7 tapas, 6 or 7 rolls, and 3 types of sake. Every single thing we had was delicious. My favorite tapas were the spicy tuna tartare and the jalapeño hamachi. They are a must try!! I really wish I took pictures of the food because it really was spectacular. This will be the sushi spot I take everyone to, and I can't wait!

Throughout the years I have heard great things about Mint so for our wedding anniversary my husband and I decided to finally try it out! I am so glad we did. Not only was it nice to skip the hassle of parking downtown but the food was great. Our server was amazing, with it being our first time she gave us a rundown of the menu and highlighted some favorites. The atmosphere of the restaurant was dim and chill. We ordered miso soups, the jalapeño hamachi, the beef tataki, the moonlight roll, and the apollo roll. I also ordered their sparkling sake which was a special and I loved it. The miso soups were delicious and priced well. The jalapeño hamachi is an award winning dish and I can see why. It was SO good. My husband actually saved the vinaigrette to try with other dishes. We also enjoyed the beef tataki, I did feel like it was a little on the chewy side but overall good. We loved the moonlight roll, the flavors and sweetness were good, I did feel like it was missing heat from the spicy tuna. The apollo roll was good, this roll also had spicy tuna and it was definitely hotter. Mint met our expectations and will definitely be a contender for our next sushi date night.

I still go to other markets for certain items (like my favorite kimchi brand that H Mart doesn't sell) but I come here for everything else. It's insanely clean and bright and smells good inside, for those who care about such things. Their produce is fresh and well-stocked (though sometimes random things are very picked over like green onions). They have tons of variety in brands so I can find exactly which Korean/Thai/Chinese variety I've gotten used to. Very well stocked in the pantry aisle and a nice selection of kitchenware and household items, beauty products, gifts. The deli section is well stocked with ready-made kimbap and banchan. Big freezer and seafood section too. There is only a boba and K-beauty shop in the leased storefronts in the front of the market but hoping they attract some restaurants into the area soon like Chinatown. We need some good Asian food down south!

Fresh baked goods for sale. People everywhere. It reminds me all of the Asian markets back home in California. I love the variety of goodies, fresh produce and home options they have here. The fresh baked goods is what really caught my eye. The egg tarts. The Chinese long donuts for congee. The big sesame balls. I want it all! I appreciate that they have so much produce here. I would be here every week to grab the fresh veggies if I lived here in SLC. I wish we had this many options in my neck of the woods. I was able to grab a few goodies. New chopsticks, some Chinese long donuts and some candy. I unfortunately can't take too much home since I'm traveling home by car. I will be back in April and I'm going to come back for some goodies. I'll make sure I have a cooler to have a safe place for all of the perishable goods. I'm not coming back to Boise without all the goods.
