    Nachos, Torta, taco

Wow, the food is so good. We had a carne asada taco, combo torta and nachos. The torta and taco were outstanding. The torta bun is nice and thin, perfectly toasted, so you can taste the delicious filling instead of a lot of bread like some tortas. The only confusing item were the nachos. The toppings were delicious and the serving is huge, but everything was cold, even the cheese was not melted. We will be going back, but will skip the nachos.

Tried for first time today on friend's recommend. So good...1 birria, 1 pastor and 1 Gerrys taco (Carne and beans on flour tort)...perfect size and delicious. I got there as they were setting up jut said I'd be back...they recognized me and were very welcoming. Again I can't explain how good the food is...along with their homemade sauces and salsas...I understand everything costs $ today...but they threw in extra salsas on the house (which are still all over my fingers!)

The food truck was located at 10300 S and 1300 E in the Smith's parking lot. Ordered some Tortas and tacos. Excellent flavors and salsas and overall ingredients. Good prices as well. Check it out!

Have seen this truck a few times and did stop to try it. We were not disappointed. We had the taco de carne asada and Gerry taco. Very good. We will be back.

This food truck is located at the CAL Ranch parking lot in Draper. Looking for a good Reuben in Utah. Found it. Delicious. Gonna find an excuse to come back. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. The cook makes the food, hands you the food, you add all the toppings you wish (without judgment), and can go back inside the restaurant (unless you grab the wrong door and end up at the barber) to sit at a table or wherever you wish to eat. I got to select however many meats with no toppings and was pain free for the rest of the day (conclusion for me: no additives triggered a wobbly digestion in response). Everything looked and smelled fresh. Ambiance: bit bare inside, definitely not cozy. But if you are there to get food and eat it, it should be good enough.

I enjoyed two tacos-a beef and a chicken, both absolutely amazing. The flavor is great, the tortillas are warm and fresh-everything about it is great. If you're looking for authentic street tacos and don't mind eating in your car or in the parking lot, this is a fantastic option. I may find myself driving over and setting up a taco picnic in the back of my truck this summer. Grab a plate and come join me.

Not to be confused with their actual brick-and-mortar store, the Wasatch Deli & Catering (WD&C) --…read morewho has been doling out great sandwiches via their small cafe and catering service since 1990 -- made the no-brainer expansion into the food-truck game. What's different from their normal menu? Missing are most of their hot sandwiches, but that's a small sacrifice. They still have the soups, still have the burgers, still have all the great cold sammys, and even have a full breakfast menu (with hash browns, egg sandwiches & wraps, fruit bowls, biscuits & gravy, etc.). My favorite sandwich on earth is those I eat on the days directly following Thanksgiving ... so I was drawn to order WD&C's Turkey Cranberry Sandwich ($7): Cranberry sauce, cream cheese, red onion, and lettuce. I chose wheat bread, with sourdough as the other option. I loved it! Fresh bread, generous cranberry sauce, and, of course, high-quality turkey. I can't wait to have it again! I also got a heaping bowl of their Chili Verde, a bargain at $3.75. I don't think I've ever seen a deli do any type of Mexican food well, but WD&C has delivered a green-chili masterwork here. While not thick with stuff, the stewish broth, big dollop of sour cream, scoops of corn, and sliced jalapeños make for a hearty, filling soup. A little bit sweet, a little bit spicy, a whole lot of YUM! I can't believe how good this deli Chili Verde is. And it perfectly pairs with the crispy, tortilla-like chips that come on the side ... dip away! I can't wait for this food truck to return to my work. Only problem: What I had was so good, it'll be a personal sacrifice to explore the menu further. The things I do for Yelp!

No, you probably do not know what a Sonoran Dog is. So no, you don't know if this is authentic or…read morenot. I'm from Tucson. I tried almost every Sonoran Dog offering--restaurant, food truck--in Tucson. Seriously. And have Yelp reviewed and rated them all. Folks, this is the real deal. So what makes a Sonoran Dog? First, the hot dog. bacon wrapped, with the right sized pinto beans, and diced tomatoes and onions. Next, mayo, guac sauce, and sometimes mustard, depending on the vendor. Often served with a grilled pepper. So far, so good. But if you don't have this final ingredient, IT IS NOT A SONORAN DOG! And that is.... ....THE BUN! Sonoran dogs are only Sonoran Dogs if it has the right bun. These are the right buns. Well...I'll say it is 99% the real buns. He gets them shipped in from Phoenix, I believe. Phoenix does not have the best Sonoran Dogs. In Tucson (the first North American city to be named a "Gastronomic Capitol of the World" by UNESCO) *all* Sonoran Dog vendors get their buns from Alejandro's Bakery. Period. *All* of them. And they are a special bun. Long, in which the hot dog actually fits, tapered at each end, fluffy, and ever so slightly sweet. Half of the enjoyment of eating a Sonoran Dog is the bun. And often you end up with a bite or two with no more dawg and it is a pleasure to eat that left-over bun with still a few of the other ingredients in it. With Chipilon style of Sonoran Dog (from a certain Mexico province of the same/similar name?) the bun is toasted on the grill on both sides and there is cheese at the bottom of the bun, which is melted. This is how he serves them. And the toasted bun is the best way to have a Sonoran Dog in my opinion. So I say his buns (from Phoenix) are 99% real because these buns have one end sort of sliced off. But that does not detract from the experience of eating these fine dawgs. The only drawback for me is that these dawgs cost $8.50. But hey, we're in Utah, and he has to import the buns, so that's an extra cost. In Tucson, anyone would balk if the dawg cost more than $3.50. But for me, this is the only game in town. And it's a good one. And he serves his with Duros de harinas (Mexican wagon wheel chips). And tonight I tried a combo that comes with any version of dawg he does plus a "mini quesadilla," which wasn't so "mini" as he stuffs it with a generous amount of cheese and you get three triangles. He's in the Latinos Furniture parking lot on Redwood in West Jordan. In case you use Apple Maps, until they accept the correction I sent them, it is on the east side of Redwood: 7659 S Redwood Rd. His weekly location (if different than Latinos) is on his Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/nanassonoranhotdogs. Even my wife, who doesn't like hot dogs, like Sonoran Dogs and likes these Sonoran Dogs. Check it out! 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good.
