It was not crowded, as you'd probably expect for a not-vacation-season weekday, and we took over a couple lounge beds and had a corner of the pool to ourselves. The poolside bar service was great, which is not a given when the clientele is sparse. If you were coming in to find a hot party scene on a Wednesday you'd probably be disappointed. But I thought it was great! There's a restroom with showers by the pool, too, so easy to fix yourself up and transition to a post-pool activity even if you're not a hotel guest.

I recently went to an event here and the auditorium-like stage, it was a perfect fit for a quartet. In the back, is a great setting for the food. A little cramped for a HUGE production, but great for an intimate event. Outside, the building is beautiful and in a really great neighborhood. If you walk up to it from the street parking, be prepared for a steep uphill battle. However, if you park in the lot, there is an elevator that takes you up to the floor you need. I'd love to have a 25 or 50-year wedding anniversary here. Gotta wait at least another 20 years for that one.

We had a wedding of 95 guests, had the ceremony outside in the courtyard and the reception inside in the main dining room. There are places that are newer and places that are grander, but this place happened to be the exact fit for our wedding. We wanted it to feel formal without feeling overly stuffy. We wanted a place that felt historical without feeling rundown or old lady. The pictures came out absolutely amazing in this space, and people were constantly coming to us saying how much they loved the space and the feeling of both the ceremony and the reception.
