Been meaning to leave a review for this guy that quit on me last year after I called him out. The guy quit on me in the middle of the month after being paid in full. Was charging me 150 per month to basically add minimal chemicals (if he added any at all), brush pool and clean out the skimmer basket. Sometimes he didnt even show up and what looked like his kids were servicing my pool. Im all for family business but I thought i was hiring an experienced professional to take care of my pool. Out of curiousity I took a sample to leslies after being serviced by lucky pool. my pool chemicals were not being balanced. I told him the phosphates were getting high and he said "I can do a treatment for 200." I thought I'll do the treatment myself for about 20 bucks which is about what it cost me. Can you please balance my pool chemistry correctly because the PH is at 8.2, he said "you have a saltwater pool so you're going to have high PH" I have a saltwater generator that produced chlorine and does raise PH so basically, I was paying him to come out and add acid not chlorine to keep my pool balanced. My pool did not require any chlorine from him as my system self produces it. So, for 150 a month it should cover the cost of between a bottle to half a bottle of acid which is what its been taking me to PROPERLY balance my pool. I've been taking care of my pool ever since and have had no trouble keeping the PH under control... If you hire this guy or you already have him I highly suggest from time to time you run a sample of pool water to Leslies a day after hes come out. They will tell you for free what to add to your pool and exactly what is out of balance. It will also show you if this guy is skimping you on your pool chemicals that you are paying him for. Dont be fooled by just looking at your pool, my pool looked clean too, I would not have known anything was wrong had i not started testing the pool water myself. The first test that was out of whack I blew off but the second time i checked on his work I said we have a problem...High PH levels can damage your motors and pumps among other problems and you wont know until the damage is done. Would not have left this review had he at least finished his job that he was paid for or properly refunded me half the month he didnt service. But he just quit and walked away. Thats the type of character you are dealing with. But thank you because Im saving 1800 a year doing it myself...easy, youtube it! I spend about 10 to 20 minutes a week and about 30 to 40 bucks a month on pool chemicals... read more

Owner Salvador Gonzalez installed a timer mechanism three weeks ago. It stopped working. His text response was there's no warranty on electrical parts. I paid another $175 to get another company to correctly install a timer mechanism. Works perfectly fine now. Lesson learned. This guy won't stand behind his work or at least not on "electrical parts." I had Salvador Gonzales install a simple water valve and it took him four times to finally get it right and he charged me another $120 after he set the water level wrong. I spoke with other pool service companies and none agreed with his excuse and shared concerning information. Call the large pool companies before you use this guy. read more

My pool needed some Maintence done to it had some staining that I didn't like and I gave Sal a call to come by check and out the pool and told me exactly what needed to be done. I called Sal at the Lucky Pool Co. and he was amazing. My pool had stains and he drained it and did a chlorine wash. Once full he balanced the water and brought my pool back. It has not looked this good in years. I swam in it for the first time, yes already this year, and the water felt smooth. He explained that when the chemicals are equally balanced you don't have a strong smell of chlorine and if your water causes you to dry out it is high in acid. Lovely, just lovely.
