This is not my strong suit but they had lots of samples to look at. We chose the fabric for the shade right away. We chose several possibilities for the drapery fabric. Melissa came out and measured and helped us choose the correct fullness for the drapes and material. They arrived and had been mis-measured! One two inches short and another set 2" long. Very disappointing! Listen to this- at 5:00 pm they called a seamstress back to work and Melissa herself went in and corrected the other pair! Said we ordered one product, when we obviously ordered a completely different one. Then tried to claim it was our fault! Tried to show us scribbled codes on an order sheet (which mean absolutely nothing to the customer - only to the person who wrote the order incorrectly!!) and say that was "proof" of what we "meant" to order. And mind you... all of this back and forth is delaying us getting the product we actually did in fact order. This all fully explains why I was told by their installer, Kevin, the day this all started, that "the owner has a whole garage full of blinds, shutters, and other product that they'll never get rid of, and it's all from mis-orders, duplicate orders, and other mistakes we've made". That's a direct quote from their own employee's lips. So it sounds like we are not the first customers who have experienced this.

The receptionist said he was going to ask the owners what was up and would call me right back. I called him back a day later. He promised to call me back this time to tell me what was going on. He also told me my paperwork had been filed away in the "completed" files of their office. Budget Blinds made the assumption that the job had been completed by the guy they employ to construct the blinds. Anyway, in mid December, Carlos shows up a day late to install blinds. I had to take an extra day off work. At that time, I called to speak with owners. Left message. To this date, no owner has called back. I complained about one of the shutters slats being uneven, and brackets had not been removed from old blinds. A month later Carlos shows up a day late to fix blinds and remove brackets. Had to take another day off work and he did neither of the two jobs he was supposed to. He moved a few slats around, that's it. The only time I received a phone call from the owner at all was to collect the remaining monies. I had written them a letter, detailing this whole ordeal, hoping they would do the right thing. They did not. I paid them what my contract said less bracket removal and today, I am free of this very unprofessional company. Thumbs way down on Budget Blinds Jefferson located in Winder, Ga. This is my third order of shutters from this business. The first went smoothly about 3 years ago,…read morethe salesman was very knowledgeable with the install on time and professionally completed. The next order took repeated phone calls to the company for an install date and we were told numerous stories (sometimes conflicting) by several customer service reps. and the salesman. The install was completed much delayed from the date promised. More than a month and would probably have not been completed at that point if we had not persisted in calls for an install. The install was professional. Unfortunately, I have now placed another order and two months later; a month after the promised date, I have no install date. I called the corporate office on two occasions and was promised a supervisor would call; still no call. After many calls to the salesman, I received a text a couple of weeks later after he promised to call with an install date. I still have not install date. The shutters are quality and professionally installed, however, customer service and delivery of the product is not as promised as advertised. Do not order if you need on time install and delivery or have a problem.
