Paul has twice now expertly repaired my vintage speakers, at a very reasonable cost. Thank you!

Hi, Conrad - we can repair them, but none for sale at the moment. $35/each+ tax, parts and labor.

    Is this business still open?

Is The loud Speaker store still in business? He did some work for me in 2011 and did a great job. I have been trying to contact them but have gotten no answer. Thanks for any help on this.

I had an iPhone XS that took a few drops of water and started a reboot loop…read more The phone was functioning 100%. Actually, I just had a zoom call (like I do daily) before the phone caught some water and started rebooting on its own (in a loop). They called me the day before my repair appointment to explain to me the process: - we diagnose the problem (for free) - we propose solution + cost - you agree, you pay us, we repair it This is not really how it went: Unfortunately, they did not even try to open the device to see what's the problem. They did not diagnose it as they explained on the phone. Instead, they wanted to either charge me for a new screen (300$+) or a battery (100$+) without really knowing what's the problem. The phone has an excellent battery and the screen has zero dents or scratches on it (well taken care of). I am disappointed that they did not even attempt to diagnose the issue. I don't trust the crew or the company although I had high hopes. My advise, if you own an Apple device, just get the AppleCare program and save yourself a headache.

I had a simple job, a wire splice. It is on a SubPac M2. The device isn't important, but what is…read moreis what happened. First they said "we just moved locations and don't have a wire splitter." I said, ok, let me go home and get mine. Drive through traffic, finally make it back about 45 min later with the wire splitters. They then say that they cannot do the job without possibly injuring themselves or the device. Dude, you are an electronics repair place and are unable to splice a cable (about 4 wires in the cable). So I ask, is there another location that might be able to help? And he's like, they will have the same problem we do, no splitters. LOL, wtf? OK, this place is either incompetent or.. what?

Worst service I've had in many years. They replaced a screen on my phone but in less than a month…read morethe new screen started flickering and eventually died. I called this place and was told another screen was available. When I came, they said the screen they had was reserved for something else, blamed "a new guy" and told me to wait 3-5 days for the screen to arrive. A week later they told me the screen was in transit and to wait more. Another week later, they still don't have it and don't give any ETA. Their staff has been very condescending and rude. I don't usually write bad reviews, but this place is as bad as it gets.

Eeeek. I didn't check the reviews for this spot before bringing my son's Nintendo Switch Lite in,…read moreso I'm glad I didn't has as bad of an experience as others in the past. :( My six year old dropped his Switch Lite from playing with it in an area he shouldn't have been. Parents, I know y'all feel me. We've all been there. He cracked the LCD screen on the inside and it was all sorts of glitched and nearly impossible to play, and of course, our warranty didn't cover a drop situation. uBreakiFix is really the only place in the area I knew of that did repairs like this so I gave them a call and they were incredibly helpful over the phone. I set up an appointment online, brought the device in for a consult, and they let me know they'd order the part and it would be ready in about 4-5 days. Perfect! The 4th day hit and I gave them a call and they said they anticipated the part being in that day and then it would be a couple of hours to fix. Great. The 5th day rolled around with no call so I called again, and they said the part just arrived but it would "be a little while because it was a delicate fix and they didn't want to rush it." Another day passed... and another day... And finally around 4pm on the following day they let me know it was ready. They would be closed the following day after that so we had to wait another couple of days to pick it up. They also let me know on the phone that some sort of screw "basically disintegrated" during repair and that is was a "common problem" but it left a little gap on the side of my son's Switch. It doesn't affect the way the device works, but I just think if that's so common of a problem, why don't they have replacement screws to make up for that issue? Overall, my son's Switch is working perfectly now with a beautiful screen so he is happy and thankfully, not asking me every single day if it is done yet. Additionally, all of the employees we encountered over the phone or in person were really pleasant to deal with - I just think the communication should be a little bit more thorough if there are days on days of delays.

The "district manager" Sebastian G then just lies to me and tells me my only 2 options are to come back the next day for the phone or pay out of pocket (upon calling asurion later he was supposed to tell me to call them to have the IMEI number fixed on their end, but it was close to their closing time and he did not want to stay late). So with no other option as I cannot leave my phone (literally dont know how to get home without it as I drove over 40 minutes to get here) I am strong armed into paying out of pocket. Now after weeks of run around with their parent insurance company assurion they found a solution where another claim could ve submitted which they would be reimbursed for and then I could be refunded as they would have essentially be paid. To this the "district manager" Sebastion said no because it would make a lot of paper work for him and apparently he was just too lazy to do extra work for a mistake his employee made (according to asurion they are not to do any work on a phone if the imei number doesnt match the one that is on the claim). So at the end of the day, 2 mistakes made by the company and no responsibility shown by the "district manager" Sebastian. At this point both them and Asurion are completely washing their hands of it and leaving me out the full amount of $491, which is ridiculous price to charge for a screen repair of a 5 year old phone but that is besides the point. The 2 receipts pictured will show that my correct IMEI number is on the receipt *after* I pay out of pocket (interesting how their system reads it right once I pay but not during the claim processs). Avoid at all costs and cancel your insurance with asurion, paid into it for over 5 years with no claims and when it finally comes time to pay out they find a way not to. Sebastian also lied when the work order was created to try and deny the time I dropped off (he claimed it was 4) but as you see on the receipt the work order was created at 11:46 am so it took them over 4 hours to *not* fix my phone. To further everything after finally having the insurance company get directly in contact with the store Sebastian lied about the events that transpired. Do not use Asurion and U break I fix, they are not consumer friendly and will not assist you in errors caused by either their own internal website or errors directly caused by their staff. imgur link to the photos since cant add them on yelp https://imgur.com/a/dfELhpE
