Now I can't stop going back! The roomy carpark has 2 hours free parking, then upstairs you're greeted with a sunny and fashionably modern courtyard lined with cafes and shops. This is the curative for my hatred of shopping centre cafes: with plenty of outdoor seating under broad umbrellas. There's a Cicco Cafe, Pattison's Patisserie and Simone Logue, as well as a Harris Farm, Hudson Meats, Chickens Plus and even a bookshop! And for parents it's too easy with a daycare and medical centre right upstairs. You may be perched right on the express way, but Stockland Cammeray is a very well designed spot.

It's easy to get in and out of this place and its been a nice addition to the suburb. There is a medical centre some offices and a daycare in this centre. It's quite busy day or night with shoppers and restaurant goers. I like the space here and its open and welcoming. Not bad for a suburban shopping centre.

There's a great variety of shops, including a Vodaphone, grocery stores, a pharmacy and a Din Tai Fung. We shopped a little here, but most of our visits were for breakfast, so we hit the Greenwood Grocer and the Food Court for nourishment. One Friday, after 5pm, a friend noticed that some of the Food Court stands had signs posted mentioning special end of day food discounts. Thrive Located in the Food Court where there are actually communal tables! I ordered up one of their new Brekkie Wraps $8 (scrambled eggs, bacon, tomato salsa, seasonal greens, avo & pea mash) with sweet potato $2 as an add on. It was tasty, warming, and quite filling. Greenwood Grocer I picked up a combo bowl of their Nutty Rice (Brown rice, almonds, walnuts, raisins, fresh vegetables & herbs; Soy, honey, garlic dressing) and Chicken & Basil Penne (penne pasta, chicken, sundried tomato, celery, fresh herbs; creamy pesto mayonnaise) $7.30 medium, from their prepped food area. Yes, it was cold, but still, it was rather tasty, and the portion more than sufficient for my brunch. On the other hand, Chatswood Chase has forged a reputation for itself as the "fashion retail" capital of the area. Who could not agree more. Chaddy Chase also has a pretty cool Apple store, and a mini kids playground in their kid-friendly area. There is less of a crowd compared to Chatswood Westfield, which provides relief for those who dislike crowds (which I am sure is most of us). With less traffic, it is easier to shop and navigate your way around the centre. Chatswood Chase houses a number of high street and haute couture stores from Alannah Hill and Zimmermann to Lisa Ho and Veronika Maine. If you're looking for evening wear, Chatswood Chase is the place to go. Having forgotten where I parked my car, I asked the valet attendant to help me locate my car. He was very friendly and gave me ample instructions and directions. Overall, the thumbs up for Chatswood Chase.

In the morning it's like a giant vacuum cleaner that sucks people out of the train station and blows them into the offices and coffee shops around. I often walk against that stream and feel like a salmon ready to spawn. If only I could leap into the air and hurl myself towards the gates... Secret underground pop-up designer fashion laboratory alert!…read more (That would make a great Japanese cartoon title.) So you know Westfield Pitt St Mall ain't your average Westfield, right? That's it's designed and planned and decorated to within an inch of its life and is chock full of hella cool shops and eateries and all the things that get your little urban commando hearts beating faster then your average hipster. Well head down the escalators, ya big ol' fashionista, because there's another surprise for ya: on the below-ground level and there you'll find a concept store called 100 Squared that gets a whole bunch of amazing, emerging local fashion designers and collects them all in one place for your shopping pleasure. It's like the king of all pop-ups, curated for style and quality. And the best bit? It's a place for the new generation of fashion talent, all these great up-and-comers, to show off their mad sick skillz. Love it.

Instead of focusing on brand names, this is basically a marketplace/bazaar for independent designers who want another channel to showcase their products. I'm not a fashion designer myself, but I'm also a designer - just from a more digital perspective. I can relate to the "not work for the man" part so I like this place a lot because it gives another outlet for independents or small businesses to hustle their wares. So 5 stars for this place because it supports small business / independents. Anyway, there are clothes (women's fashion), and jewelry. But beware that the clothing sizes are more designed for "hipster" sizes. (i.e. if you're beyond say a size 10 or Medium - result of having a vegan or soy milk diet, then theres probably nothing for you here other than jewelry). But then again, theres even less for guys unless you're into cross-dressing at hipster sizes. PS - 300th Review!!!

The shops are divided onto two levels in the shape of a very gently sloped spiral. The whole complex is bathed in lots of light as the ceiling is glass, giving it a spacious and positive feel. The shops consist of all the usual suspects for your shopping needs, Woolies, newsagents, cafes, a butcher, a bakery (no candlestick maker), fishmongers, some clothes shops and a Chinese supermarket. One thing I noticed was the complete lack of mens clothing shops, in this Utopian Northbridge land apparently men aren't allowed to wear clothes. That, or it's so brazenly geared towards housewives that the idea of men doing the shopping is roughly equivalent to the idea that pigs may fly.
