Thats a good thing, it feels good to be in clean spaces not only for hygiene but for my mind. My massage therapist ( Michelle ) honestly had me second thinking her when we first sat down. But i just surrendered and tried everything and found myself experiencing one of the top 5 massages in my life. I am a yoga teacher so I do lean toward someone who actual knows body mechanics and spiritual energy. Michelle's knowledge is profound and altering. No apology was offered--just a suggestion that I "go eat in the area and wait." Since I had other commitments, I left upset, then returned to ask about rescheduling. The only option was hours later with a male therapist, which I agreed to, but I also asked what they could do to make up for wasting my time. The receptionist said the owner would decide. The response: 20% off. I couldn't help but notice that their policy charges customers 50% for canceling without 24 hours' notice, but apparently when they cancel last-minute, my time is worth far less. Overall, I found the service dismissive, the lack of apology unprofessional, and the resolution unfair.

I decided to come here as a treat for myself for my birthday back in April. I made a late morning appointment for a massage on a Friday. When I arrived, I checked in at the desk. I was given a robe and slides to wear. I went in the changing room to change and went to the relaxation room to relax. One thing about it. This place was busy! The relaxation room was a bit full, which wasn't all that relaxing for me. While I waited, I had to fill out a form which goes over a few medical things and asks if there's any particular areas you'd like them to focus on or avoid. Next, I was called in for my massage. Overall, the massage itself was very relaxing and just what I needed. After it was done, I sat in the relaxation room for a few minutes and then I went to change and head out. Overall, I had a pretty good experience here and would return.

Both times her hair & makeup were done by the same artists. Hair was done by Marlee. My daughter showed her pictures for inspiration, and she has very thick, curly hair to work with. For the chignon style, it down-poured all day, so we struggled to keep it perfect, and the style was the pieces in front, so they didn't quite curl the same once home, but that was not to fault Marlee. Plus, my daughter insisted they be "wavy", though not my taste. Marlee gave her what SHE wanted, and she felt beautiful both times. All a mom could hope for. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the young woman who did her makeup, (perhaps Jenna based on names I just looked up, but I cannot guarantee), but she gave her two completely different looks (a 1950's glam-type, then more of a smoky eye the 2nd time) based on her dresses and knocked it out of the park. This would have been in Spring '23 & '24. I believe she is the primary person who does makeup there. You cannot go wrong w/these women! It's still old decor, every other locker in the woman's locker room said "out of order". The shower heads are rusty. Even the pitcher of tap water was luke warm with no lemon, etc. The relaxation room was dirty with fingerprints on the side tables. It's a shame.
