Not worth the money. If you want to live in a "loft" go rent somewhere else that is actually nicer. The walls are super thin you can hear everyone's conversation loud & clear. Concrete floor that is absolutely hideous with horrible cheap painting to cover it up. If you live in the interior side of the building you won't get fresh air since your windows aren't towards outside

Like George, I'm not sure where the bad press comes from. I lived there for a little over a year. The only reason I had to move was my fiancee has a house of her own and financially it didn't make sense to maintain two households. I've lived in a number of apartment situations and Jenny Bogan is the most professional and responsible of the property managers I've dealt with. She usually responds to texts or voicemails within 24hrs. Aside from the management, the building was BEAUTIFUL. I never saw any rodents as others have claimed. If you have a dog, this is the building for you. Almost every apartment has a dog. They have a dog park and at times the mail room looks like a Chewy.com distribution center. My only regret was that I had to move for reasons of mathematics.

We have lived at the Lofts 125 just over a year now. We are very happy here, it's the nicest place we have had since we sold our home in Florida. We had to wait 3 months for the unit we wanted to become available, but it was well worth the wait! With black granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, glass cook top stove, hardwood floors, laundry hookups in the bathroom and 14' ceilings, most units are BRAND NEW. There may not be a gym, swimming pool, fancy community rooms with pool tables, but the units are beautiful at a fair price. We originally viewed many rental complexes, mills and lofts in Rhode Island. We can honestly say after viewing them and seeing what they offered in addition to "Additional Fees", this is the best value! There's no question....when looking for a new home, you need to be selective and check out as many places as possible. Everyplace is not for everyone. Walgreens and CVS is just around the corner and downtown Pawtucket with some great restaurants are all within walking distance as well as the YMCA gym. Another bonus is Armando's meat market which is right across the street. If you are not familiar with an original butcher shop... You must check this place out! The owners, Garfield and Rebecca which we have met several times have always been cordial and are very nice. We have even seen them both working in the complex side by side the construction workers. Jenny Bogan the manager is here most of the week working hard to make this the best place to live. Any issues we have had were addressed within 24 hours. As with any place, a house, duplex, or any other complex you'd move into there are always going to be misc. issues. They say you cannot please everyone which is true. It's to bad some people take out there anger in a review for all to read. Anyone who has moved in knew this place was under construction but still signed a lease and moved in, so it's not fair to complain about the progress, enjoy it. All the tenants here are very nice and friendly just as a community should be.

Next to the fridge

I don't even know where to begin with the amount of disgust I have had living here. We will start with the black mold though. I informed my landlord I had black mold upstairs on the ceiling through text a numerous amount of times, in which she ignored every single text. I have called her numerous times, she ignored those phone calls as well. I have asthma, black mold is deadly for me! Not to mention disgusting. I have a dog as well who I don't want inhaling that. I had to go downstairs and knock on the management office to tell her face to face to get her to actually do something. Maintenance came the next day, cut the black mold out of the ceiling and informed me they would be back the next day when it's try to patch up the hole, and of course they never came back. Then literally in that same week I was in the kitchen and seen a mouse run out from under my fridge. I then freaked out and called the landlord and texted her no response. I ended up setting traps up myself and caught the mouse, thought that was the end of it but that was just the start. I set up numerous traps in my house and caught about 7,8 mice. I finally went downstairs again to knock on management door to ask if she changed her number since she doesn't respond to my texts or calls she says no "i didn't receive a text from you" then i show her the receipts and she says "I'm sorry i must've been busy and forgot to respond" the next day sends maintenance, and all they do is set traps (which i already did) and while they were there i asked them to patch the hole in my ceiling upstairs they told me "i can't you have to make an appointment for that" which i was never told when they originally cut the hole in my ceiling, they told me that day they would be right back. Anyways, i kept finding mice so i kept texting her about this problem and demanded an exterminator, she kept telling me they're coming they're coming but when i asked when she couldn't give me an answer because she did not call. The craziest part about all of this was she had the audacity to text me after all of this saying "it came to my attention your dog is not in the lease it's $50 extra a month" mind you , i have been there for a year, and when i moved in I showed her the paper work of him being a service dog. That is not my fault if you did not take copy's of it, but the audacity to ask me for extra money for "pet rent" when I have found 8 mice in my loft, is she going to pay rent for those pets? I have never missed a payment I have never been late, i am not loud, I'm very clean and the way she treats people esp ad the building manager is horrible. Ever since then she has been very petty with me, I came home to run in for 5 seconds to pick my dog up she was yelling at my for parking in front mind you SHE does it and so does everyone else in these lofts and she doesn't say anything to them. As if this is my fault these lofts are infested with mice. They even increased my rent 100$ after all of this. Furthermore an exterminator eventually came 8 mice later, set up traps and it seemed to be quiet for a little while but today I found a mouse again. I texted the landlord no response. I'm honestly just fed up and I have been looking for a new place but it is hard finding one at a decent price everything is so expensive which is the only reason I am here. 0 out of 10 stars do not recommend. You have a better chance getting in touch with the IRS during tax season that Aurora (the building manager).

PEERLESS Firstly,…read morelet me say that I've only lived here about a week. So far, I've had more pros than cons. Pros: Staff is very friendly, and always willing to help with whatever issues I may have. Security is good, and you never worry while coming home late. It's simply a beautiful building with a very interesting past. It used to be a club that would play some real headliners. My apartment is spacious and bright, with original floors and all. Cons: It's very noisy on weekends (but of course it would be as any place would that's surrounded by bars) The windows (this is a personal issue, and not something that is really a complaint) I'm short. Opening those windows were a real struggle and now I can't close them because I can't reach. This mean's I'll have to call maintenance for a ladder each time I want them opened or closed. The food dispenser was clogged and the washer was filthy, again a personal problem because they offered to clean and fix everything before I moved in but I chose to move in sooner rather than later, not giving them time to fix the issue. The only real issue I have is that there are fruit flies in my apartment and they are PERSISTENT. Having worked in the bar industry for five years, you'd think I would be able to get rid of them but they just keep breeding. I don't know if this is a maintenance issue that I can call them on, or if I have to call some form of pest control. The only reason it bothers me so much is because my kitchen is always clean, and yet they are just here. I hate that they keep getting into my cat's food when I leave it out for her. ALL IN ALL, I would def recommend the peerless building for anyone wanting to be downtown.

Nightinmare. My…read moreworst rental experience in my 14 years of renting across 6 different cities and 4 different states. Are you masochistic to the point of overpaying for your physical and mental trauma? Are you deaf or saint enough to be not bothered by loud noises from the unit above you? If your answer is yes to any of the above questions, you have found a home! Please let me give you a little verbal tour of what your experience is going to be. You will likely be considering Providence as a new home. Since you don't know much about this town yet, why not just live in a nice place in a central location? Makes sense! So you will come in, get a beautiful brochure for Nightinmare Apartments. You will look at swanky amenities, modern-looking apartments, nice enough view from the rooftop. You will also have a great conversation with Will from the rental office, who is super-nice and friendly. Let's do this! What could possibly go wrong? Well, I'll tell you. First, you will notice water- and sewer charges on your rental bill. It's completely legal for them to do it, it will be on your lease but weird, right? Second, depending on how sensitive you are to the noise, you will soon realize that there's ZERO floor-to-floor insulation. I have spoken with a few neighbors and everyone has had a similar experience. They responded to my Google review describing how amazing of a job they have done with insulation and carpets but 1. Carpets are only in the bedrooms, not living room where most people spend most of their time and 2. If people are still having noises issues despite amazing insulation, that is a bigger problem. In my case, there was a little kid above me running wall to wall and banging on the floor all the time. Let alone working from home, I have not even been able to enjoy a nice show on the TV without constant banging and running noises in the background, which I didn't sign up for. Granted, not much the neighbors can do about, but that may not be your situation and you will get no support from the management. Just to get one response to my email by Derrick, the very nice but incompetent property manager, has taken anywhere from a week to ages (and still counting). And mind you, these are VERY expensive apartments relative to Providence average. Generally, places might at least offer carpeting, swapping apartments, rent discount, or early termination for such issues; not Nightinmare. They will milk you for every last penny. If I were to say two nice things, I guess the gym is nice and Will from the leasing office is nice and responsive, but none of these things will pay your rent or protect you from trauma. My two cents- Go live elsewhere. A place on Craigslist may not be as fancy and might be equally noisy but you will at least save money. If you have had mom and pop landlords, you know that it's in their best interest to keep you for as long as they can if you are a good tenant. Nightingale / Nordblom are corporate monsters and they DO NOT have your best interest at heart. They are looking to get you out as soon as possible so they can jack up the rent as they know they will find someone else. Needless to say, I escaped Nightinmare even before my lease was up. It will take me a while to recover from this near-PTSD experience but you have a choice and you can do a lot better.

We only had a few maintenance requests in our year there, including a cabinet hydraulic, a dishwasher gasket, and the electronic access Butterfly system going down one night. All of these issues were address promptly. The layout of the studios and two-bedroom units are superb. The one-bedroom layout is also nice, but there is only one option and it does not include any corner units or balconies. Overall living at the Nightingale is worth every penny if you can afford it, particularly if you're looking for a studio or two-bedroom unit. Check it out! I lost my job due to the economy, I spoke with them and asked if they'd be willing to work with me and instead of trying they took me right to court. Now, at court we were told they'd use the security deposit to the owed rent (it increased each year and each year I paid that increase). Instead they used that deposit to renovate the space - put in a new bathroom, kitchen appliances, rugs ect ect. Before they took us to court I found out I was pregnant and even brought that to the lawyer. They chose to ignore this and continue charging and unwilling to work with me. After living with them for three years they did NOTHING to help me out when hit with losing my job, which is uncontrollable in this economy. They are terrible, will up charge you and will do anything they can to squeeze every last penny out of you with no concern for you! While living there I had MANYMANYMANY issues with the apartment which were only FULLY fixed after they kicked us out but when we lived there I often had to submit multiple reports before they sent any type of maintenance out! This included the ceiling falling in on the tub, leaks from the ceiling into my personal belongings, ac leaking onto the rug causing a permanent odor, ants, and of course a flooded basement! They required renters insurance then the insurance couldn't do anything about my moldy belongings in the basement! The property managers did the least they could do maintain and keep water out of the basement and have no regard for your personal belongings! They think the location will make up for how poor the apartment space is! No way they should be charging over 1700 for that space given how poorly it is maintained and how quickly they'll slap a bandaid on an issue rather than actually finding a resolution!

Complaint Letter About Ongoing Illegal Parking at 38 Fountain St…read moreTo Whom It May Concern at Stonelink Property Management, I am writing once again to report the ongoing issue of illegal parking at 38 Fountain Street, Woonsocket, RI 02895. I have contacted your office multiple times and have even spoken directly with staff about this problem, yet nothing has been done to address it. There is a large posted sign at the back of the parking lot clearly stating that unauthorized vehicles will be towed. Despite this, the rules are not being enforced. At this time, a Toyota Camry with license plate 2AJ 650 continues to park here illegally. The driver does not live at this property and is occupying a space that belongs to a resident. This situation is extremely frustrating. When management fails to enforce parking rules, it sends the message that anyone can park here, even if they have no connection to the building. Residents who pay rent and rely on their assigned parking spaces are being disrespected and inconvenienced. I am requesting that Stonelink take immediate action to enforce the posted parking policy. This includes issuing warnings, documenting violations, and towing unauthorized vehicles when necessary. The sign is meaningless if the rules are not upheld. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I expect a prompt response and a clear plan for resolving this ongoing issue. Sincerely, All Residents, 38 Fountain St,Woonsocket,Ri
