Folks here have worked with the likes of Gavin DeGraw, Snoop Dogg, The Goo Goo Dolls, DMX, B.o.B., Big Sean, Mac Miller, Mike Posner, The Fray, Jadakiss, Alanis Morissette, Tory Lanez, Stereophonics, William Michael Morgan, Big Smo, Jelly Roll, Nappy Roots, Ryan Tedder, Busta Rhymes, Wiz Khalifa, Mike Epps, and John Legend. I was here for fairly simple podcast recording. In this setting, it's reasonable to be concerned about accessibility. This is a modestly-sized building in Broad Ripple with a handful of parking spots. Street parking is also available all around it. They do have one accessible parking spot, not quite ADA, but I opted to park on the street as it gave me better access. The side entrance works better for accessibility. I had no trouble getting in it in a wheelchair. The doorways were right about 32" - right at ADA requirements. I also found the studio to be pretty darn workable with one bit of a bump to get over some cords. The podcast set-up was ideal for a wheelchair, though I will note they also knew I was coming in advance. I find in unique settings it's just helpful to let folks know in advance. The staff I met were all friendly and helpful. The setting was inviting and very conducive to recording. I'd imagine I was in one of the smaller studios, though it looked like it could be easily adapted. I'm not an expert in recording, however, I was impressed with the set-up and the effort to make guests comfortable. This was a positive experience all around for me and definitely made me intrigued about the idea of my own podcast recording in the future. I would easily return.

They once called to advise of a mistake made on their end resulting in them needing to perform more extensive work, which would normally be a several hundred dollar job but they completed it absolutely free. All of my guitars they've worked on feel great and as someone who is getting back into playing guitar after several years of neglecting the instrument... having excellent playing guitars and a people I can rely on for great work and great service has helped reignite my passion and enthusiasm for the guitar and music as a whole! I thought, what's the harm. It's Tuesday. I'm off work. I'll try your lasagna sure. The lasagna was so cold. "Who made this cold lasagna?" I wanted to ask. But no one came back to check. I brought the lasagna home. I warmed it up myself. Not that bad, which is why I give it two stars. If it had been warm the first go I might give it three or maybe four. Five star lasagna isn't something you come across everyday. So don't be upset that I wouldn't consider it. The service was also not good. No menu. No silverware. Just one man who is offering lasagna. On the plus side, this place had a lot of parking and was warm enough inside. Unlike the lagasma. I will keep looking for a Tuesday lunch spot. Update: management has informed me this is not an Italy restaurant. They do not know lasanga man. I will give it 5 stars.

I've been taking amps and pedal boards to Uncle Albert's since 2007. My brand new Fender Twin…read morearrived damaged, he fixed it under warranty, no charge. I turned my Marshall TSL up to 10 one night and literally burned it up (dimmed all the lights in the house, heard a pop, no sound, then smelled smoke). He had to clean up the board inside due to carbon deposits, replaced a power transformer, soldered in a number of capacitors, etc. and re-tubed it. He charged me about the same as if I bought the parts and did it myself. He fixed a couple of Vox Tonelab effects pedals for me. The last repair (12/2025) was on my Marshall JVM 410H that had a lot of noise. The tubes were fine, so he had to go over every component, every circuit, to eventually find it to be a $3 capacitor. What he charged me was way under what his time was worth, it plays beautifully now. He even texted me this morning to make sure the amp played well last night. Kevin doesn't just fix the problem, he goes over the entire amp, cleans all the electronics, even wraps up the freeking cord like it came new. I won't take my amps anywhere else.
