Ethan was an incredible bartender and made an exquisite dirty martini. Seriously, if you love a good dirty martini, don't skip it. The fries were off the hook, and the atmosphere struck the perfect balance of classy, comfortable, and fun. One of the highlights of the evening was learning about the building's history and hearing about the upcoming live music that performs downstairs in the cozy speakeasy. It's definitely a reason to come back again. And a huge shoutout to Leo, the waiter, he is the bomb! Friendly, attentive, personable, and he genuinely made us feel welcome. If you're looking for amazing cocktails, great food, outstanding service, and a place with character, Myrtle's is a must-visit. As a newcomer to Sioux Falls, this is exactly the kind of local gem I was hoping to find. I'll definitely be back!

The selection is great and it's a more sophisticated yet young and trendy vibe in their bar area. Always see a great crowd here. My go to drink is a Lavender Martini. Especially in Sioux Falls) However it is one of the more slow bars I've ever seen for its size. (Maybe due to location, however they have a sister location downtown). But don't worry, plenty of servers and bartenders to make sure your drinks are made fresh and fast. Happy hour runs basically all day. Beer is cheap (Busch Light buckets in the can, is my favorite along with $3 well pour drinks), food is average but might be overpriced outside of happy hour. Tons of TVs they'll play a few channels on all 20 screens unless it's Sunday Night Football. I'm sure if you ask a manager to change it, they would. The "vibe" is early-2010s frat house meets casino garage -- neon aliens, with TouchTunes getting stuck but can use more coins to pick several songs to get one you like to play... on the wall about "F* your bad vibes" ...... ya. That might be the only decor that isn't family appropriate. There aren't many bad vibes here, though. It's a family style restaurant with even high tops and low. (no booths) A couple of nicee pool tables if you're into that! Regulars seem to have a great bond with the staff. Enjoyed watching the perfect harmony of everyone getting along. Service is great seeming from the happy casino regulars. Management is efficient!! Deffs need more information/ time spent with/ questions answered to give a more rounded review. With that being said, let me know what you liked/disliked. Maybe there's more in store for me to come back and try it again! Last notes: there are dozens of sports bars in town that aren't this slow on a weekday and don't feel like you're crashing someone's private party. (Seems like the perfect place to rent out for a family reunion) Local's definitely know they have enough staff hired to handle a full house. Also!!!!! If you're into donating to causes, at the time of writing this review you can donate $1 of every "Tito's Code Red" drink you order through the holidays.

The restaurant has the best lighting, decor, and atmosphere. I wish I could remember our waitress's name, she was so sweet and truly took the time to recommend not just which different food options but things for us to do and see. I ordered the filet with asparagus and would order that time and time again..phenomenal. My hubby ordered the walleye dish and it was also phenomenal! The drinks were top notch. Please keep in mind you will be spending money to eat here...but it's money well spent!! Will recommend to anyone visiting
