We were impressed and amazed at the skill, expertise and knowledge Bill had and shared with us. In the end the big problem was the door strike plates all needed adjusting and no new locks were necessary! He was totally up front, honest and reasonably priced. Now we can lock the door with one finger....no tugging or holding the door in anymore! He made sure we understood that was how the lock is supposed to function, and if it doesn't to call him back right away so as to prevent further destruction of the lock. Mike (goes by Dino) taught me about all of these things, whereas the previous vendor did not. He stopped by multiple times to make sure the door wasn't sticking and to make sure the system was working as designed. Do not go with any other vendor. Call these folks immediately. The system is quiet, and it works really well, and the service is excellent. It is normal to need adjustments, and when you do, service matters. The cost is reportedly in the middle for automatic doors. As per policy, a complete assessment of your current and future needs is free at Capitol Locks and on-site, so you should get a bid. Full Disclosure: my door did stick once since the last repair. I used the technique they taught me to give the wooden door play, and it hasn't acted up since.

Disappointed! We had an appointment for this morning 8a-9a. No one showed up. I called and was told…read morethat the tech was going "out of order". Whatever that means. We were quoted on the phone $110.00 total for 2 rekeying and service charge of $80.00. Well, the tech had to leave to go to Menards to pick up something. 30-35 minutes later, he changed the locks then charged $190.00 instead of $110. When I told him we were quoted $110, he said that the additional $80.00 is for labor. We made sure that when we called to schedule the appointment, there were no other fees. Then the tech wanted to charge me $18.00 for rekey kit, which only cost $11.00 at Walmart. Seriously! Do not trust them. By the way the tech showed up after 4pm for the job. Call another company.
