20 minutes for service. $520 for lockout. I called for my wife they drilled off keypad. probably twice what I would have paid someone else. Took advantage. Had used them professionally previously, would not recommend. read more

My seller had lost their only key and their home is on the market. Lock Doctor was there in a few hours and remedied the situation. Great Job! read more

For whatever reason, my sliding glass door became jammed in the locked position. The tech, Bill, was here in a jif to remedy the situation. Trust and believe, it was not an easy fix. It took a good 45 minutes of finagling for the lock to finally release, but now the patio door is open and the cool breeze is pouring back into my house. Thank God. They're spendy, but worth every penny. Props and kudos to Bill--he gets a gold star! read more

I cannot express how amazing Lock Doctors is. We called them for help with a mag lock system that another company installed and refused to service. This was an after hours emergency call at the end of a business day on a Friday that would have left our business vulnerable to theft. Lock Doctors sent out their electrical technician Bill who went above and beyond to ensure our system was working and the doors were locking properly. Thanks to Bill Smith and the team we were able to ensure our business was secure for the weekend. We truly appreciate the concern and care taken to help us in our time of need. Highly recommended. read more

Outstanding! To get 5 stars, you have to be really, really good. And let me attest to Lock Doctor having earned all 5 stars today. Apparently we have a ghost in our house. My car keys vanished. Into thin air. The only explanation is a Poltergeist. So, I called Lock Doctor. They had a mobile unit out to my house in a little over an hour on a Monday morning. Impressive. It was bitter cold outside, and the car was not in the garage. The technician was into the car in short order, and had me spare, functional transponder keys not too long after. Very professional tech. THANK YOU! If you have the fancy computer coded keys that are dealer only, fear not. These guys can help you out. read more

Pretty impressive! Recently my home door keys were not working as well as they should. Then last night coming home around 10:00 pm I couldn't get my garage door open - the spring had broken! We tried both of our keys and none worked. Finally getting one we had left with a neighbor we were able to open our back door. Went by Lock Doctor this morning and explained my situation. They suggested first using some spray lube in each lock before doing anything else. I did that and all locks are working like new! Yes, they could have set up an expensive service call, sold me new keys, and God only knows what else - but they didn't. All fixed without costing me a cent. These are the good guys and have earned my loyalty. read more

We locked ourselves out of our home on a very hot Sunday afternoon and had no way of getting in. The Lock Doctor was literally the only place that answered my phone call. The man was very nice and said he would be right there, he was at our home within fifteen minutes and unlocked our door in less than a minute. Wonderful service! THANK YOU! :D read more

I locked us out of the house in a rush so I had to call for rescue. Even though google said they weren't open on the weekend, they have an emergency number for you to call. Jeff was a super nice guy and got here really fast. The whole process from the initial phone call to getting back into the house took an hour or less. Thanks a bunch, Lock Doctor! read more

Ryan at Lock Doctor in Lee's Summit did an excellent job replacing some aging door knobs and locks at our house. He'd worked on some locks at my place of employment so I felt comfortable with him in my home. He is efficient in his work, knows his stuff and is friendly. I appreciate him educating me on what he was doing and how to maintain the new locks. He even adjusted a door hinge and showed me how to work an adjustable strike plate we already had. I highly recommend him! read more

What a great place! I was greeted by a very friendly young man as soon as I entered the store. I have been trying to get in here since Christmas when I got a custom key blank for my motorcycle. I finally made it and WOW was that easy in and out of the store in under 5 minutes with my newly cut custom key plus a spare since you can never have too many. I looked around a bit before I left and man they have it all keys and locks for everything including all the high tech stuff. Definitely a place to check out. I know I will be back. read more
