Even worse, we tried pushing the car to move it and the wheel got locked in a terrible spot. We spent hours on the phone with AAA (they wouldn't tow it to a safer location unless we took it to a dealer/shop). All shops were closed so we couldn't call anyone to see if they'd take the car. We talked to numerous locksmiths who advertised 24 hour services, yet wouldn't come out that day. I don't blame someone for not wanting to work on a Sunday afternoon, but calling yourself a 24 hour locksmith is a bit disingenuous, eh? Not only that, but two other shops quoted twice what this guy quoted us, and still wouldn't come out that day. Sent in a message via yelp to PMJ locksmith and got a response within a minute (literally). Called them up and was told he would be out after his current job, gave me a fair estimate. True to his word he called me after his current job and was on his way. Fixed the car in absolute darkness with nothing more than a small flashlight to see. Stuck to his quote and fixed the car right up. Not only did he call when he said he'd call and show up when he said he would, he was very friendly on top of it. I had to take an uber to the payday loan business and after I received the loan I had to call for another uber. The lender would only loan me $200 and I needed $250 approximately. The gentleman had to reprogram my key and the FOB so I could start my car remotely. He was finished with the job before I had the other uber driver pick me up. I told the man I didn't have enough money and would gladly pay him the following Wednesday or he could keep the key FOB until I could give him thecrest of the money. I added that I definitely needed to be able to drive my car as soon as possible. He was very kind and told me he would call his partner to see what he wanted to do. By the time I got back he had talked with his partner and they agreed to go ahead and give me the FOB so I could drive my car before payday. I told him I would not let him down and promised to have his money as discussed. I thanked him over and over again for waiting so patiently for me to get there and again while I took a cab to get the loan. He didn't seem uptight or put out by all the time he had waited or because I didn't have all his money. In fact, he made a spare key in case I would lose my key again. The next day his partner called me to tell me not to worry about paying them the rest if my bill. He said, "my partner and I discussed the balance and decided to write it off because I was so grateful and appreciative." The man on the phone told me it is nice to do business with someone so appreciative and kind. I appreciated the way they were patient, knowledgeable, compassionate and understanding. To say the least...they were punctual. They beat me to the job sight. I would recommend this business to anyone needing a locksmith including family and close friends. I rate them with 5 plus stars.
