This is the best locksmith around, especially for the express things when you need it quick. 1) Hit the Yelp request a quote 2) Let Chris fill you in on said quote 3) Be done with whatever your lock issues are at the best price When we moved, he re-keyed our locks for us at a fair price and very quickly (fun fact for the day: when you're "having the locks changed" the actual term is re-keyed). More recently, my lock got all twisted, snapped something inside and would just spin in circles. Technically, this isn't a lockout or quick-action-needed request, but fortunately Chris recognized me as a repeat customer and went above and beyond. He came out early the next day after a super quick response on Yelp, and replaced my lock with a better one. Here's the magical part: Our old house doesn't have every door fitting perfectly flush, but he got my approval to chip away a little wood to make the door fit better. This place rocks! I was so busy in the process of moving in that I didn't realize one of my doors may have shifted with the constant use and the strike plate was off. It resulted in one of the door handles not catching or latching. I noticed it and called Chris on a Saturday night hoping he would call me back on Monday to discuss the issue. First Things First. I bought a house and only received keys to a couple of doors. I needed to get the whole house rekeyed. Total of five doors. I called two companies to get pricing. First one answered and couldn't give pricing and a tech would call me back. The second one was Express Lock. I Was relieved when a person answered that could help. I called Chris the Monday after Thanksgiving to come check out a deadbolt lock that was spinning. I wasn't sure if it was broken, needed to be fixed needed to be replaced, etc.. Luckily when it jammed it was in the locked position so I could wait a bit, but Chris was able to come out the day after I requested a quote. I appreciated that Chris let me know right upfront that there would not be a flat rate that he could quote me because he did not know specifically what the issue was so offered me varied prices based on what the issue might be. His rates were very competitive so I elected to have him come out. I found him to be very personable and polite. He was able to resolve the issue in less than 20 minutes. Chris is a great guy. He is 5 stars for a reason. I called a few other locksmith companies for price comparisons and he had the best deals and availability. He was accommodating to come exactly the times when we needed. He had us test things to see ourselves after he finished replacing all of our locks for our new house. He went to the store midway through the job to find replacement screws for us that were missing. He even drove back another day to fix a crooked angle we weren't happy about.
