It's really convenient to act 'polite' after your svs while still at the salon,knowing you aren't happy yet wait until anytime after to call and demand a cheap cuponish follow up service. If there was a problem and required Any form of refund, you have 48hrs kindly at most as a consumer is concerned. A blow dry, style, blow out,trim/cut is an add on unless you are receiving a color/cut special or partial hl/lol - cut special... I had an appointment scheduled for 5:00 pm with Madelynn, but my service did not begin until about…read more15 minutes later. The hair wash felt rushed and my hair did not feel thoroughly cleaned. During the haircut, I explained that I wanted my long layers to start higher. Midway through the service, the stylist stepped away to attend to another client. When she returned, she quickly finished the cut without checking back in on the layering or confirming how I wanted it styled. There was no offer to curl or style my hair at the end of the appointment. I left feeling disappointed because I expected to walk out with a finished look, not have to go home and do the styling myself. Overall, the experience felt rushed and inattentive, which did not meet my expectations for a professional appointment.

Lauren was upfront and honest from the moment that I sat in her chair, explaining cost of the services that she recommended for me. I am laid-back about my hair, and tend to go into a salon with a "I trust you and what you think will look best on me" attitude, and in Bombshell's case, it worked. I stayed within my budget and left gorgeous, although I am concerned that my cut is a little more high-maintenance that I'm used to and that my flunky fingers won't be able to recreate the salon awesomeness at home. The salon is small and not fussily-decorated, and the music wasn't obnoxiously loud. If I could nudge my rating down 1/2 a star I would, but only for two minor things - I was never offered coffee or a drink (had to ask, and this was after being there an hour), and the chairs are too low at the stations to see into the mirrors that are hanging over too-high bureaus. Bombshell has a great, convenient location in the Monterrey's shopping center on 211, near the burgeoning area of medical offices and the new hospital, sure to continue to expand and increase client base, success, and customers in all the area businesses.
