By the way, this was the only wig my Mom tried on. So, it's not like we got that information mixed up with a different wig or something. So, Mom wears the wig and loves it. After the first few washings, it needed to be re-styled. So Mom got her curling out and on a light setting... the wand barely touched the hair, singed it and the wig hair shriveled up. We were both surprised, but weren't worried because we figured the shop would help us out since they said heat was fine. We drove to the shop and spoke with the sales associate that had originally sold it to us. She kept repeating that she "would never have said that and that (name brand) can never be used with heat. We must have misheard her or are getting it confused with another wig she'd tried on". Again, she only tried on one. I asked the sales associate if she could even admit that sometimes, misinformation can be given to the customer, not maliciously, but by mistake, since clearly that's what happened here. She refused to accept that and repeated that she would never have said that. My Mom is a 76 year old Minister. Definitely the type to lie about a wig! Lol! Anyway, we left there and went online (wigsdotcom) and bought the same wig. Same brand, same color for much less and free shipping! The wig was about $170 in the shop and online it was $119. I definitely recommend you just go to their shop to try on the wig, then go online and make a much less expensive purchase! Besides the poor customer service, their shop is not very clean, which is surprising since they have a salon on site. Many of the brushes they have for sale have hairs in them, the make-up is crushed up and dirty and no longer sealed. I regret ever doing business with them.
