I asked what the cost would be as a cash patient with NO Insurance. I was informed the total fee for my 5 minute visit would be $130.00. I agreed to proceed and paid in full the $130. About 3 week after the visit I noticed an additional charge of $146.00 posted to my credit card from CareFirst? I didn't give anyone permission to keep my credit card information or authorize additional charge! THIS IS FRAUDULENT UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES!!! I have contacted them multiple times to resolve and NO RETURN CALL!

Whomever I saw, didn't do any type of physical exam. Didn't look at my throat or offer a strep test. Didn't listen to my lungs to see if I had bronchitis. Didn't look up my nose, which of course is gross, but necessary. I could say that I gave 1 star because of the unsterile looking waiting area etc... but I would overlook all that if I felt like I had been getting the care I needed. There was a very tiny wait which at the time felt like a positive. Now I know why there was no wait.

I told her when I was younger I drank too much so I quit, so she put down I'm an alcoholic. I said I had fibromyalgia and was always in pain, she put down I'm an opioid abuser. First doctor didn't believe in fibromyalgia at all and gets his medical advice from Trump. Second doctor didn't care to help me with my issues and walked out of my appointment with her before I was done telling her what was going on. This last doctor refuses to see me now because I accidentally missed an appointment. He was my diabetic and mental health doctor. Now I have no doctor and my meds are running out and I'm screwed. Thanks Margaret Mary, real tight ship you're running there.

This doctor refused to treat my child, claimed I was being dramatic. Told me to give my kid a popsicle. Then threatened to call security when I asked for tests to be run. Just for me to take my child elsewhere one hour later and have an ambulance transport my baby whose oxygen levels dropped to 74 and continued dropping and he had 104 fever. He was diagnosed with pneumonia, RSV and bronchitis. A 3 year old. And now the hospital will not provide me paperwork or update his chart so I can report that doctor. CASES LIKE THESE KILL PEOPLE.

(I would think there would be a policy against that, since sick people are pretty sensitive to that kind of thing). I was sneezing all the way to the exam room. The doctor was extremely hospitable, and looked into my eyes when speaking with me, instead of down at a computer or clipboard. He even told me of his personal health journey and familial experiences. I felt like a person he cared about, and not just patient number 846677. I plan to stick with this hospital for my primary care and specialized care for the foreseeable future.

Nobody wants to be made to wait for something that isn't altogether a pleasant thing to think about. I would come back again when the need arises.
