My previous review (that they removed) must have seemed like an advertisement. I'm confused at this point. Late last week I was experiencing complications from a previous gunshot wound that occurred in the line of duty shortly before my retirement. Being late at night and the fact we have not established a local doctor, we visited the emergency room at The Christ hospital. The admitting agent was pretty slow, but meticulous. Understandable. The nurses seemed to be very experienced at what they do. Seriously, I really have no idea if they are doing their job correctly. The physician on duty recognized the problem and treated everything to my satisfaction. We even have a lead on a few doctors that we can use while we are here. I suppose this isn't like my typical restaurant review and you don't need details on how clean the place is or if it's reasonably priced. All I can say is the place is up and coming and they offer other services that I'm sure are on their website or you can discover by calling them. 12/21

I was then taken back to a private room and I was then put in a CHAIR, spinal injury and severe pain , a room with a chair, now it's not a bad chair and for most people I say its fine, HOWEVER for a person in my shape simply looking for a xray and any kind of pain relief and diagnosis to fix my condition, I was sitting in a chair for right at an hour, Not a comfortable position , not one person to stop in, I was in extreme pain no way to lay down for any relief, and then I get a DR. J as my provider, she simply asked me what my problem was, and told severe back pain, called earlier to get you my prior imaging so YOU would know what I was dealing with, yet the didn't need that info? and that I was about to leave as well. DR quickly said I could leave anytime as she was busy anyway. Now I am sure she was busy I am busy at my job also, but I don't speak to people in anyway close to this ladies style. Very unprofessional, no empathy or concern about my pain level and what a nasty attitude. I have dogs who receive more attention and compassionate care from our livestock vet! Will never return! Extremly disappointing

She directed me to the patient registration desks where I was greeted by another friendly employee. After she checked me in, I was directed to the waiting area of the lobby to wait for the person to do my blood work. After a very short, wait, I was taken back to have the blood work done. Yet again, the person doing the blood work was friendly and engaging, It made me very comfortable. He explained his process of finding the best location to take my blood and it was done quickly and painlessly. I've been to this hospital multiple times for myself and with other people and I've seen nothing but the highest quality facility and staff. There is nothing I could suggest that they could improve upon.

The staff were rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. When I called later, they claimed they couldn't understand me and simply hung up. This experience was unacceptable. Asking those kinds of questions without providing any actual help is not only inappropriate but also shows a complete lack of professionalism and basic respect for patients. If someone truly wants to end their life, they are unlikely to answer such questions honestly. Asking every patient these same questions in this way does not feel helpful or effective. In many cases, appropriate treatment, including antidepressants, can actually help people much more. Honestly, this was one of the least helpful experiences I've had in a medical setting in the United States. I came for help, but instead felt dismissed and misunderstood.

This is a newer building and part of the very nice UC West Chester campus. There is "ideally" plenty of parking, although it is very busy so it might take a few mins, allow for extra time. I was immediately greeted upon entering the main lobby by a woman asking about my covid exposure etc. They then tag you with a red or green sticker and you may proceed on. The people at the eventual office I came here for were so kind and helpful, I was very impressed. I was able to check in contactlessly via my UCHealth MyChart. I did not have to fill out any new paperwork as they utilized it all from there. Wait time was less than 5mins. I was tested while I was here which was easy and painless. The results (neg YaY) appeared in MYChart within 24hrs!! Luckily this was just an adverse event and everyone took great care of me!
