This cute independent bookstore is situated on one of the main streets in Chester. We parked along the road, but there are side streets with parking available too. I was impressed with the use of space in this smaller building. The owners have pretty much every possible inch covered in new boos, used books, children's books, bookmarks, book-themed drink ware, and other small items. They have a price explicated by colored stickers they place on the spines. I thought the prices were very fair considering what you'd spend at Barnes and Noble. I left with one adult used book that's fairly new and one children's book. I spent $13. My friend bought 3 first edition Harry Potter books, a new fantasy book, and a themed drinking glass and spent right around $50. The woman working behind the counter told us she was part owner. She was very friendly, helpful, and clearly had a passion for reading. She was familiar with all of the local/indie authors in the store and seemed very well read across various genres. We'll be back! read more
