The ambiance at night is nice and dimly lit. Great menu and nicely priced. There's currently a 3 course special that comes with a salad, salmon, tiramisu, and bottomless wine for $60! It's definitely worth it. The goat cheese spread tasted great with the salad. The salad also comes as a big portion. The salmon was huge and perfectly moist. I got the foie gras on French toast. It had the perfect amount of salty and tart sweet flavor with the blackberry-cherry sauce. It comes as an appetizer, but because it's so good, I don't recommend sharing since the portion is so small. I got the spicy seafood pasta, and it was amazing! It had the perfect amount of spice and it comes with a hefty amount of seafood along with a whole big lobster tail! The shrimps that it came with were also huge and there were plenty of calamari and octopus with the pasta. This dish was such a great deal with the portion and the amount of seafood it came with. My only complaint is that they can lighten the amount of fresh basil they put in. I highly recommend! Last, we got the creme brulee, which comes with orange biscotti. It's a shareable portion, and perfectly sweet. Our server Zoe was also amazing! She was super friendly and answered all the questions we had with the menu. The attention to detail here is on another level, and you can really tell how much care goes into the food. First off, the housemade sourdough bread is an absolute must. I know it sounds crazy to get this excited about bread, but it's genuinely one of my favorite appetizers anywhere in town. The bread itself is incredible, but the different butter and spread options really take it over the top. The pesto and nduja butter are especially good. There's just something special about it, and I couldn't imagine coming here without ordering it. Another absolute must-order is the baked nduja butter mussels. These are phenomenal, and I could probably eat two orders by myself without thinking twice. The flavor is incredible, and it's one of those dishes I find myself thinking about long after leaving the restaurant. On my most recent visit, I ordered the Creekstone New York steak, which was fantastic. Beautifully cooked, full of flavor, and a great reminder that Esther's does a lot more than just pasta. Speaking of pasta, the fact that they make it in-house is another reason this place stands out. You can really appreciate the quality and craftsmanship that goes into their dishes. The cocktail options are excellent as well. I'm a big Old Fashioned guy, and that's my go-to every time I visit. They consistently make a great one. Service has always been another strong point. Every server I've encountered has been incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful with recommendations. It's the kind of hospitality that makes you feel welcome and keeps you wanting to come back. Esther's Kitchen really delivers the complete package. Excellent food, great cocktails, thoughtful service, and a restaurant that genuinely feels like it takes pride in everything it puts on the table. James Trees continues to be one of my favorite chefs in Las Vegas, and this restaurant is a big reason why. If you're visiting for the first time, do yourself a favor and order the sourdough bread and nduja butter mussels. You can thank me later!

I've genuinely never had a bad dish here. My fiance is especially obsessed with the breaded mussels. He loved them so much that he would order two platters before his meal (insane lol)! Brunch and lunch are both great, but dinner is definitely my favorite time to come here. Every pasta dish I've tried has been excellent and even the simplest dishes are incredibly impressive. The pizzas are great too and I love that they switch up the menu seasonally. I wish I could name more specific dishes, but honestly, everything I've ever ordered here has been delicious. The bread service is an absolute must! My favorite spreads are the basil ricotta, nduja, burrata, and fegatini. It's such a great way to start the meal, and I highly recommend trying a few different options. The drinks are great as well. Beyond the food, I absolutely love the ambiance. The interior has such a great vibe, and I love that it's located in the Arts District. The service has also been incredible every time I've visited. The staff is attentive, the food comes out quickly, and the pacing between courses is always really well done. I truly cannot say enough good things about Esther's Kitchen. It's one of those places I'm always happy to come back to, and it never disappoints! The only thing I will say is that because some of the dishes are seasonal, you might get sad when they're no longer on the menu. I would do just about anything to have the sweet corn agnolotti again...

We had been to Herbs & Rye a few times in the past just for cocktails and I can't recommend enough the bar service. Excellent quality ingredients and knowledgeable mixologists who are happy to customize any drink to your taste. The restaurant interior is a cool speakeasy vibe. It's bustling but in a good way. For dinner we had a party of three and we started with the French onion soup, the wedge salad and the beef sliders. The soup was very bland - it was in dire need of salt and the cheese was not flavorful at all (it was maybe a mozzarella or some other melty application?) It needs to be a greuyere or something else with a kick. The salad also was in need of seasoning. The ingredients were good quality but the dish was overall bland. The sliders were ok - the horseradish sauce was a welcome bit of flavor. For entrees we shared the blue cheese pork chop, the filet and the cacio y pepe pasta with sides of creamed corn and sweet potato tots. I ordered the pork chop medium and unfortunately it was served well done (and as a result very dry). The flavors were ok but the garlic mashed potatoes on the side were also extremely dry. The filet and pasta were fine - nothing to write home about. The sweet potato tots were probably (and sadly) the highlight of the meal. Clearly homemade and very fresh and tasty. The creamed corn was way too loose and as a result lacked very much flavor. We finished with the dessert platter which presented each of the menu desserts but in a smaller portion. The only item I cared for was the apple bread pudding. The rest of the items weren't prepared properly. For example the crème brûlée custard was overcooked and broken and most of everything else was also overcooked and dry. Because this is an independent locals place we really wanted to love it but I just can't recommend it for a dinner. Cocktails yes; food no. On the bright side the service is excellent. Our server Victor took great care of us and the food runners and bussers are awesome. Dinner for three came to $239 before tax and tip which included three glasses of wine and one cocktail. If the food preparation was just a little bit better it'd be one of the best values in Vegas.

When we try a new pizza spot for the first time, we always just do a cheese pizza. Feel like that's where the quality comes in play. So we ordered a 18" cheese pie. No add-ons, just how it comes. Needless to say, extremely disappointed!! It was dry, the sauce it had was tasteless with pieces of brown cooked basil. No taste of basil either. Looks like it got hit with cheese on half or just on a budget with cheese. The slices were weird. Not even. Some thin, some a little bigger. Most places cut the pieces large on bigger pies. Maybe it's different here. But not by the pics on the site. One piece is missing in my picture because I had to at least taste it. Ended up ordering a pie from somewhere else and just not eating it. Won't be doing this spot again. Sadly because the pictures of some of the pies look great!
