    Chicken and lumpia
    Amanda R.

Decided to try tonight since the truck was parked at our apartment complex. We got street tacos, and lumpia. He was so kind, he threw in some chicken for us to try. Definitely would eat again!

Nico's was outside of my apartments tonight and I went to try the spam Musubis but he didn't has them tonight. He was so kind and recommended the guava chicken plate with lumpia and he threw in a slider for me! I appreciate his amazing service! He even scrambled my egg for me. Food truck was clean and well lit and food came within 10-15 minutes because he makes it fresh! Definitely recommend! Thank you both again!!

Nico's was at my apartment complex the other night, when I came back from running errands they were still there. So i decided to check it out. When I first went I waited like 5 minutes or so and no one notice or heard me, so I left. When I went to get my package I decided to make an order I asked for some recommendations and ended up with the crispy guava chicken and the veggies noodles, the chicken wasn't as crispy as i expected the flavors was there a little sweet for my liking but good, I wasn't a fan of the noodles it was super greasy and didn't have alot of flavor, there was alot of the green onions ends in it . There wasn't much ambiance since it's a food truck and it was toward the end

I feel so lucky this truck was at my apt bc the chicken bowl was amazing! It may look underwhelming (don't most bowls?!), but the flavor is fantastic. The chicken is marinated and shredded--5 stars. The rice is a little crunchy. They add a vegan spicy mayo sauce that was also great. Keep your eye out for this trick! The Asian + Mexican fusion is a unique flavor profile, and I couldn't have been happier with it!

Nico's Eats very nice looking truck.

I recently discovered Nico's Eats Food Truck and I was so impressed by the quality of the food, how clean the truck was, the great service, and the whole ambiance. We had the chicken tacos and we were completely satisfied. I'm going to follow them on IQ, so I can plan on enjoying my next wonderful meal at the truck's next announced location.

    Guava Chicken

This is my new favorite spot. I come once a week to get the Guava chicken. I dream about it all the time. If that wasn't enough, I get their chicken tacos too. It's way too much food for a normal person to eat in one sitting but it's so good I can't stop. You have to try it. Follow them on instagram to see where Nico parks his truck. I follow them all around town.

A party I went too today had them catering and everything was soooo good! The tacos, quesadillas, fried rice and lumpia were great, but my favorite was definitely the spam musubis!!!

Made a large order with Nico's Eats. Nico took my money and never delivered the food. Don't order from this guy!

It is like any typical taqueria, nothing really extraordinary. I ordered asada tacos and was a bit unimpressed. There was a lot of meat but it was very dry and flavorless. I appreciated how juicy the limes were and the salsa verde was nice, but it was all very underwhelming. It was about $13 for the three tacos, so I expected them to be a bit better than what they were. Despite being a little busy, the food came out pretty quick. This spot is quite dingy. There is a lot of open seating but it is dirty and unkempt. When we were eating there, there was a homeless man seated inside screaming, ripping up newspapers and throwing them around, and playing with a lighter. Although there is an understanding that this is not a fine dining establishment, I think it is a bare minimum standard to host an environment where guests feel safe. It is very loud in there and very casual. It is accommodating for both small and large parties without prior reservation. Maybe the other menu items are better, but if you are looking for tacos, this would not be the best option.

Must try include the adobo, lengua, chorizo and crispy tripas. Hard pass on the cesos and honestly in the asada too. There are much tastier things to eat. Everything is served on corn tortillas made to order or ask for flour. Grilled chilies and onions are available just ask. You can ask for tacos as they are served or "con todo" or modify as you like. In my opinion none of the salsas they use are spicy they just add flavor. There are several of these restaurants in Vegas with the one on the strip near the encore as the busiest of the four. You can order more than one kind of meat in the line youre in you don't need to line up at each kind. The strip location can suffer from very long lines so don't come hungry if it's a weekend or at night! This is a must have for every trip to Vegas or San Diego for me. It's not the fastest operation given the volume but staff are quick and helpful.

The tacos were fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. My son ordered tacos with a side of French fries. They offer loaded fries if you're looking for something more indulgent, but he kept it simple with the regular fries and they were still crispy and tasty. The service moved quickly, even with a steady crowd, and the food was worth the stop. If you're on the Strip and happen to catch a shorter line, don't pass up the opportunity. We'd definitely come back!

From the moment we walked in, the warm atmosphere and excellent service made the night special. Amanda went above and beyond with her customer service. She made sure our flowers and balloons were delivered and beautifully arranged on our table waiting for us, such a thoughtful touch that made the evening even more memorable. Our server was also fantastic, attentive and friendly throughout the night. The food was next-level. They must have a new chef because this is hands-down the best Mexican food we've had in Las Vegas. My carne asada chef's special tacos were incredibly juicy and packed with flavor (unlike the dry ones you often get elsewhere). The queso fundido and fresh guacamole were excellent, my wife's shrimp entrée was outstanding, and the flan was truly unique, my daughter said it was the best she's ever had. Every dish was a hit, and the cocktails were fantastic too. Everyone in our group raved about their meals. If you're looking for delicious Mexican food and wonderful service in downtown Las Vegas, look no further. La Mona Rosa is highly recommended!

MAR Y TIERRA BURRITO - It's still the lightest burrito that provides the most size. I can't say enough good things about the aioli that they use to add flavor profiles to the shredded vegetables used to add body to the burrito. The steak and shrimp used here were good as usual, and the cheese added in is always a welcome surprise. Pescado Taco - The grilled fish taco is one of their better tacos. It's a meaty fish bite, and you get the "signature" slaw + avocado slice. Baja Taco - Most of their tacos are given the sauce + slaw combo along with the protein. I feel that the baja improves in my taco ranking depending on how much fish I get per taco. The batter is amazing and it's really a question if you want to eat fried fish or not. Camaron Taco - Crunchy shrimp, and very good slaw. But I feel that the shrimp is best paired with the steak, thankfully, they have a mar y tierra taco, which I think is the better thing to order. Ambiance: It's one of their bigger branches, so finding a table isn't difficult. Everything else inside the store is stock standard to all the branches I've been to. Service: You order, pay, and they call your name to pick up your food. Straightforward.
