One of the worst golf experiences we've had in years. Our…read moregroup takes annual golf trips across BC, and we understand that each course has its own policies -- but the management at King Links seems to go out of their way to be unnecessarily rude and aggressive. Right from the start, one of our group members was yelled at for briefly driving his golf cart to load up our bags from the car. Instead of calmly informing us of the course policy, the staff chose to escalate the situation with hostility. A simple "Hey, carts aren't allowed there" would have done the trick -- like any reasonable course staff would do. We also had an 11-year-old junior golfer with us -- an experienced and respectful kid who had played with us at another course the day before with no issue. But at King Links, we were repeatedly told "no kids allowed," despite there being no mention of this anywhere on their website. They even went as far as to tell him he couldn't practice putting and to "wait in the car." Really? That's how you treat young golfers and future players? The course itself is poorly maintained, and the pace of play is made worse by a hyper-aggressive marshal zipping around trying to rush players -- even when we had just started our round. After reading other reviews, it's clear this isn't an isolated experience. Whether it's a power trip or something else entirely, the attitude of the management team is unacceptable. We won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend this course to anyone who values respectful treatment and a relaxed golf experience.

I also like the cafe where you can enjoy coffee or beer and a sandwich in their outdoor patio. They have plenty of outdoor seating so it's quite relaxing. I usually practice at the driving range and if you come often it's better to purchase the 10 visit pass where it averages to a bucket of 60 balls for $7.50. Evenings are quite busy so be prepared to wait for a spot at the driving range but so worth the wait!!

This past weekend I organized a surprise party for my dad and held it at Beach Grove…read more I've been working with Caitlin, the catering coordinator, for the past 4 months or so to ensure a successful party. Caitlin was awesome to work with. From the moment I sent my venue request email, she was very responsive, organized and easy to work with. We hashed out most of the details in the first two weeks of working together, and then about a month before the party, we connected again to finalize the details. On the day of the event, we were able to set up as early as 10 AM. Right when I got in, Caitlin was super helpful and offered her help to bring in the decorations. When we were setting up, numerous staff members came through and were very helpful and kind. The venue itself is beautiful. Other golf courses I've been to, their ballrooms were plain, boring, and simple. Beach Grove's golf course is modern, beautiful and leads out to a beautiful outdoor patio that overlooks the golf course. The food was delicious! There was mashed potatoes, pesto canneloni, 4 different kinds of salads, prime rib, and other dishes I can't remember, but it was all so good. Shoutout to Doug, Rachel, and Keith who made our night extra special by providing awesome customer service to my family and friends. If you're looking for an event venue, any time of the year, I'd highly recommend Beach Grove. If you're in Vancouver, it's worth the drive, and if you're in Tsawwassen, then you have no excuse. Beautiful space, wonderful staff, delicious food. You can't go wrong!

The maintenance people ran over at least 3 of our balls and they were shredded. They also ran around us while we were teeing off, making noise and blowing grass in our faces. We were shocked. One guy was running the bar/restaurant and front desk by himself. Sandwiches we bought tasted a few days old. The 9th hole bathrooms were closed. Just a very poor experience for the price we paid.
