The holes were filled with water when we went (probably from the rain the night before) and the fake grass was lifting and some holes had a small portion that was filled in with carpet. All in all, the whole course looks nice from afar but when you're at each hole it looks a little bit dirty. Seymour creek's mini golf would be a fun place to come if you're in the area, want to play mini golf and you don't have super high standards.

Macan and has been known as the home of Champions. There are always a lot of tournaments within the club and the club encourages its members, and especially the Juniors to participate in cross-club and national tournaments. I always feel the pressure when the Juniors are whipping their shots that make beautiful sounds when the ball slice the air...juxtaposed with my Micky-mouse and the occasional "topping the ball" shots. Even if you are a non-member you still have the opportunity to enjoy this course, so long as you are invited by a member as a guest. She came out with the same burger and told me the kitchen told her the bacon and mushrooms were under the patty (this was the first one heard of this) I lifted up the patty and saw half a piece of bacon and 1.5 small slices of mushrooms sunk into the bottom bun . 1.5 pieces of mushroom.. ... Should've called this the hardly-loaded burger. The server saw how disappointed I was and asked if I wanted to have more toppings added to it. I said yes and she kindly went back and got some more bacon and mushrooms added. It came back looking a bit more presentable. I wish I had gotten a photo but I was too shocked by the lack of toppings. That's not something I would be proud to serve to a customer. Overall, I might come back for some other items or come back during the weekday for 20% off but I probably won't get that burger again.

The last time I picked up a golf club was as a teenager playing pitch and putt out at Central Park…read morein Burnaby. I always enjoyed it. Somehow I never got into golf and so it had been decades before I tried it again. We didn't have time for the pitch and putt here so we went to the driving range. This was my first time at the driving range and the experience was good. Frustrating but good. Frustrating only because I was so bad with connecting with the balls. Service at the golf shop was great. Friendly staff. Social distancing protocols were in place. Rented the club and got a bucket of balls. Think I will get 3 buckets in future. Pick up the bucket and head to the balls dispenser. Key in the code and the balls will be released. Then head to the driving range. There are 2 levels. It was fairly busy when we were there so we went up to the upper level where there was nobody. It was fun. I will definitely want to go back for more time at the driving range and maybe the pitch and putt. It is also fairly inexpensive as it is run by the city. I am not sure if I will play the entire 18 hole as it does look daunting for a beginner like me.
