After a 3.5 hour train ride from London (I highly recommend traveling this way - it's super relaxing), my wife and I were eager to shed our baggage and start exploring Amsterdam. Upon entering the lobby, we were greeted by a friendly employee who quickly checked us in and shared details regarding the hotel's amenities. As we walked to our room, we saw a cozy commons area with seating, fridges, a toaster, and a state of the art machine that makes lattes, expresso, and cappuccino.
Although our room was fairly tiny, it had everything that we needed. My only gripes (it's not a huge issue) is that they do not have smart televisions; therefore, if you plan on watching anything from a streaming service, you should bring a digital av adaptor (to plug your phone or streaming device into the TV) or a tablet. Also, the room did not have wash cloths. The community refrigerators in the common area were very helpful as we used it to store our breakfast items and chill bottles of wine (don't forget to label any items that you place in there-otherwise it's open for community use!).
The staff here are super friendly and attentive, they are more than willing to make suggestions regarding restaurants and local attractions. On our last day they granted us a much needed & appreciated noon check out! Special shoutouts to Wyatt, Nefeli, and Davide...thank you very much Linden Hotel! read more
