He managed to get my uncle, his caretaker, and my brother from Baltimore to our NYC apartment, then to Lincoln Center and then back to Baltimore all in one day. Needed to use this service to pick up my car from the shop…read more I called and gave the dispatcher my address and where l was going.. l also asked approx. How long before an arrival...she hesitated and just said someone would call when enroute to me....OK... So immediately l jumped in the shower, knowing l had at least 15 minutes... Well, about 10 minutes later as l was drying off, the driver stated he was at my address....l informed him l needed 5 minutes and he said ok.... I appreciated the quick service, but calling enroute means enroute, NOT having the driver call you while at your door. If the dispatcher had said he would arrive in 10 minutes or whenever, l can live with that... The only positive thing was, the cab was clean and very roomy, and the fare was ok and the same as when l needed a cab about 5 years ago to the same location. All in all, this was better than waiting an hour or more and having to call only to be told, "they are enroute" which l experienced, waiting for my car to be towed to the repair shop. Oh, well!
