I went in on a Saturday lunchtime and found the service very efficient without feeling rushed. It was surprisingly quiet, so we forgot about the world around and were able to concentrate on the delicious food. The dishes are in the range of about £3.50 - £5.50 each and they're usually split into 2-3 bits, so can be shared if necessary. I recommend getting bread as well - it's great for soaking up sauces and is nice, soft ciabatta style with tomato sauce to dip it in. Particularly recommended: - deep-fried chicken soaked in garlic - not at all greasy and very tasty - potato with layers of goats cheese, ham and tomato - prawns with scrambled egg and asparagus (much, much taster than it sounds!) The sangria comes with a good amount of fruit in it and at £3 a glass is cheap and plenty enough to last a meal (if you can resist another one, anyway!). All in all a really nice place if you're into tapas and a great introduction if you've never tried it.

My favourites are the selection of cheese, the garlic prawns and the little ham croquettes. Try a jug of sangria with it - it's very well done here and compliments the food greatly. This is a lovely place, decorated in a way inkeeping with the food and very private. The tables are well spaced, so you don't feel cramped or overheard. I like this place for dates or for a meal with a good mate. Always busy, so best to book it unless you've got time to have a drink at the bar first (which is no bad thing here). Go for a great, relaxed meal on one of Oxford's loveliest streets.

The "Trip Advisor" stickers were the first clue. The menu of "Pan-Asian Street Food", "dishes from…read morethe street stalls of far East Asia", was the second. The third clue was the location, somewhat off the beaten path in Oxford. What were these clues leading up to? The fact that I'd love this restaurant. When I returned that evening the first question asked was whether I had reservations. My heart dropped a beat admitting that I did not and then returned to normal when they brought me upstairs in an already full restaurant to seat me at a delightful 2-person table overlooking the street below. I faced inward though, wanting to observe everything that others were ordering. I sampled only edamame (£4.2), Beef Bulgogi Bibimbap (£10.5), Thai Green Curry (with tofu, £12.8), and a Boba drink but this was the type of place - in every regard - that I'd have liked to sample the entire menu. Perhaps you won't require as many clues as me to give PAN PAN a try. Perhaps this 5-star recommendation will be enough. I highly recommend this spot. (Note: Reasonable 10% service fee is automatically added to your bill).

They set me up with a tasting of various English wines and I was pleasantly surprised! The staff was quite knowledgeable about local wines and expanded my horizons on English winemaking! Nice crowd here too. A day later I returned with my wife just around their closing time and while they had indeed closed up for the night - the staff was having their end-of-week toasts - they STILL very hospitable allowed us to sit and enjoy a glass or 2, rather than simply asking us to leave. The place is a gem and I hope to be back!!

Wine list was extensive and fair, from inexpensive & really good to pricey and awesome. Generally, I think there was something for everybody on the wine list. Since this restaurant has mostly tapas style foods, we had multiple small dishes which were shared. I would highly recommend this approach as no one visitor/tourist could taste everything. We got close! Small plates: Snails and marrow Croquettes with andouille sausage Red mullet & anchovies Tomato and salad / with lots of seeds Risotto Cabbage - I couldn't do this one justice Dessert: Elderflower Pannacotte Berry mess All with a nice bottle of wine...or 2! We spent a wonderful evening with good conversation between ourselves and then with neighboring diners. The staff was very friendly and helpful in selections. The food was well prepared, quickly brought out in a proper order. Our young waitress was surprisingly knowledgeable about the wine. Don't miss this hidden gem!
