This was the evidence necessary to prosecute this creep in the gym who's secretly taking photos of women and getting away with it. After I moved away from Arizona, their membership subscription recurred constantly, and I had to get into an argument over email to get it canceled. Not only did they let a creep get photos of my girlfriend and get away with it, even when we had eyewitnesses and all we needed was just to see the evidence as well as the police, but they will suck you up for as much money as they possibly can.

The gym itself is a bit older and smaller than some of the newer locations. It gets very busy in the late afternoon and evening, especially after work. That said, they still have a decent amount of equipment, so you can usually get a full workout in--it just takes a little more patience during peak hours. The biggest issue here is the men's bathroom. It's consistently dirty every time I've been in, which is disappointing. On top of that, whoever installed the hand dryer clearly wasn't thinking it through. It's mounted only about six inches above the counter, so your hands end up touching the counter while you're drying them, which is pretty gross. Overall, it's a functional gym that gets the job done, especially if proximity matters. It could use some updates and better attention to cleanliness, but it's not a bad place to work out if you go in knowing what to expect.

I get intimated going to some of these independent bodybuilding gyms however there are a lot of regular people, bodybuilders and fitness girls there and everyone is friendly, encouraging and nice. It's nice that its a local family owned gym and not some big box gym. The Tempe location would be my preferred if I did sign up for a full membership but honestly it reeks in there. I'm wondering if this is just a one time issue that unfortunately was happening while I trialed the location?? There was a Google review saying it always smells like something died in there 2 months ago and mountainside commented that they would improve and seeing as it still smells badly I doubt they actually tried addressing the issue. I also realize I chose the worst time to trial considering it's summer and the ASU students are temporarily out of the area. I worry if I get a membership and get used to it being nice and chill once Fall session starts it'll be incredibly packed.
