My little boy has been enrolled in the Blackwood, NJ Learning Experience since the first week the school opened it's doors in 2008. Prior to placing my son at that Learning Experience, he had attended what one would consider the very elite childcare centers such as: The Goddard School, The Malvern School and La Petite (Voorhees), however; I have never had more of a stellar experience at any other childcare facility as I have had at The Learning Experience in Blackwood, NJ. I am a very picky parent and has always made my child's well-being and education a TOP priority. I am the type of parent that conducts intense research and interviews when finding a Doctor, Dentist, School, and/or any type of service with the hopes of securing the best-of-the-best. Six years ago I did exactly that which lead me to The Learning Experience. From day one, the owner and his staff have always been accommodating, professional, and moreover; loving and nurturing to my son. In fact, Mr. Lee (Owner), the center's Director - Mrs. Nicole, and staff have created an environment that's safe, clean, caring, welcoming, and educationally sound. Although Mr. Lee and his team have been nothing but professional at all times, they still have a way of making it a warm and comfortable environment for the entire family. Your child will never be treated like cattle or a number, in fact; it's the complete opposite. It is evident that the staff genuinely love what they do which reflects in the type of care that is given to the children. I feel 100% comfortable saying, expect nothing but the best if you place your child at The Learning Experience.I have absolutely NO REGRETS for placing my child at this center. It has been one of the best decisions we have made for my son. I continuously tell everyone about The Learning Experience and what a wonderful place it is for infants, toddlers, and behind. If you are seeking childcare for your precious little one, consider having him or her attend TLE in Blackwood. They have provided an exceptional experience for our son. I remember how nervous I was when I had to return to work and seek child care for my first born when he was just under two years old. Mr. Lee, the director, welcomed us with open arms and invited or little one to stay and play for a little bit. Our son had already adjusted before even being enrolled. I knew right then and there that this was the place for him to be. The office staff work as a team and have a good rapport with the children. They are genuinely happy to see each child upon arrival and greet each individual by name and with a smile. Please provide a fun and educational curriculum and an outstanding summer program. Our son enjoyed doing many activities with his teachers and classmates. The caring teachers of TLE even went above and beyond having the children make a keepsake card and gifts on special occasions for their parents. It meant a lot to us that each teacher understood that my son is a little ball of energy. They also implemented strategies suggested by his early intervention teacher related to skills that he needed to work on. I think them very much for individualizing when needed, being consistent, and for always communicating with us. Right now, I am a stay-at-home mom with both of my kids, so I was sad when I had to transition him out, but not a day goes by when I don't think of them helping me more than this little human being who holds the special place in our hearts. The Learning Experience Staff is so kind and understanding! Quite contrary to what I was used to from the previous day care center my son attended. My son is relatively a simple child but can get frustrated as many young toddlers do when they can't seem to express or do something they want. Rather than ignore him or treat him as a bad child, the teachers and staff redirect him, show him love, and treat him with respect. It's truly an amazing feeling knowing that even at his worst, they care and treat him as I would. I can rest assured that while I am at work, my son is being well taken care of. Now not only is the staff wonderful during rough times, but they also do daily art projects with and for the children, feed the children real food (pancakes, bagels, fresh fruit, etc...), alert the parents when needing supplies prior to being completely out, and they are super welcoming even when your child is upset or crying. Personally, my son has his "mommy-fication" days and doesn't want to associate with anyone or anything else. His teacher comes over to me with open arms to take my son from me and is all smiles. She'll walk him over to the window to distract him and redirect him so he won't think about mommy leaving. Furthermore, the owner/managerial staff are super understanding if I need to drop him off on a day he is not scheduled. There's no fuss or complaints-just smiles. The Learning Experience in Blackwood is not the place you would want your child to be. 1- The immature staff is only concerned with partying and arrive for work either hung over or on something. 2- 2- I have personally found rolling papers in the establishment and Lee, the owner didn't seem concerned. He said it could have been a parents and not a staff members. Either way I wouldn't want my child(ren) in the company of such people. 3- 3- The staff physically strong arms the children who do not behave. They have physically picked children up by their upper arms and force them to sit. 4- 4- Not only is the owner, Lee, a cheap money hungry, socially awkward creep, he also fraternize's with the clientelle. Dads, this is your warning, he likes to blow kisses to the mommies. I would highly suggest that the Corporation investigate this franchisee's inappropriate behavior. 5- 5- Do not trust Lee or his troll sidekick Nicole, the Director, because she will protect him at all costs, even to the extent of covering up for him. 6- 6- Don't think for a second surprising them to watch the cameras on the classroom will work, they are devious and make sure they warn the staff in every room. 7- In conclusion, do not put your child in jeopardy both mentally or physically in the care of this horrid atmosphere. read more

While pregnant, my husband and I visited 6 different daycare centers and chose TLE Blackwood. My daughter attended TLE from the age of three months until she was almost 17 months old. Unfortunately, less than a month ago, we moved and our new home is no longer close to TLE Blackwood. We miss TLE Blackwood! As a new mother, you worry non-stop about sending your baby to daycare while you try to navigate going back to work. Sending her there, I was confident the friendly and caring staff were taking care of her until I could pick her up at the end of a busy day. We got to know the staff and they really seemed to care about our daughter. Our daughter started getting multiple ear infections, one after the other at the beginning of 2017 and the TLE staff would rock her and hold her until I could come pick her up to take her home or to the doctor's. Sounds like an obvious ask of caregivers, but I am so thankful for the attention they gave our daughter when she wasn't feeling well. At no point in time did I feel like she was just a number. We are now sending our daughter to a different daycare close to our new home and we truly miss our TLE Blackwood family! Working with children all day can be challenging and I can't say enough good things about the incredibly patient and kind staff. read more

Truly a great daycare.! My son has been at TLE for 4 years now, he has went through the pre school program, graduated to the after school program and now does summer camp. The staff is always courteous and very attentive to each child. The owner Lee as well as the directors know each child by name and truly care about every kid in the building. The summer camp offers fun trips like funplex and the movies that my son loves and make me happy that he still gets to enjoy summer while I'm at work. I've read a lot of the reviews on here and truly can't believe these people are talking about the same daycare. As a person who has been dealing with this staff for years I can tell you it's far from the truth.! This place is top of the line. My son learns a lot, has lots of fun, is always safe and well taken care of and we both love it! The price is great and they also provide all meals which is not the case in MANY daycares! Our family has been attending The Learning Experience (Blackwood) for 8 years now and both of our children have loved every class, teacher, and activity. Every staff member has become like part of our family over the years and the kids have learned so much from the TLE curriculum. When my 3rd grader went to Kindergarten, his teacher was amazed at the way he could already read and write because of the preschool education at TLE. My daughter who is currently in the Pre-School 2 room recently started also attending Pre-K at the elementary school 2 days a week. After her first day there, the teacher said she could tell she attends a wonderful preschool because of how prepared she was for elementary school. The kids have learned so many social skills and team building skills that started at only 6 months old. We would definitely recommend TLE Blackwood to our family and friends!!! read more

they are a VERY dirty facility. There is always food all over the floors and more then likely left that way all day and the fact that the teachers are there what 13 hours a day, they don't even pick it up, but leave it there. Urine is left on bathrooms floor and causes them to smell very bad. They don't teach our children to clean up after them selves and as posted in front lobby, they teach our children respect and manners, I think not.. teachers do not pay attention to children unless they feel it is in THEIR best interest. The owner Lee is a pathological liar and will tell you just about anything to make u happy. My son use to be hungry everytime I would pick him up and dirty and at times smelled as if they did not change him properly. We toured several daycares and when we walked into The Learning Experience in Blackwood, we knew we found the right place. The facility is extremely clean and the staff is very friendly and engaging. Our child has been attending for almost a year and a half now and we have had zero issues! Our child is always well cared for and loves attending. The owner (Lee) is very personable and he is very active in the day to day operations. I have never noticed the staff to be anything but attentive to the children in the 1 1/2 years our child has been attending. The staff have done an excellent job of communicating any special information or issues to us. The hours are very friendly to working parents as they are 630am-630 pm. I am very happy with The Learning Experience and would highly recommend them to anyone. read more

We've sent our son to TLE in Blackwood for more about 5 years - since he was 12 weeks old - and I consider it to be one of the best decisions we made as parents. My son is so happy and has so much fun that he even asks me on weekends why he can't go to school! The staff are genuinely caring and interested in the well-being and development of the children. Our son is not easy to take care of (ADHD), but everyone has been so wonderful, understanding, and patient with him and us as we tried everything we could think of to reign in his behavior. As long as you work together with them to find solutions, Lee, Alex, Nicole, and the rest of the teachers will support you and go the extra mile to do everything they can for your child to have the best experience possible. read more

This learning center is AWESOME! The director, Nicole, is hands on and has the ability to multi-task. They start each day with a warm loving hello to each child and that sense of caring continues until you pick your child up. The teachers work very hard and are loving. My two grandsons have learned so much. The five year old could easily fit into any first grade class now. The three year old is progressing above our expectations as well. If you ever have a concern, they listen and try to make things better and things do get better! I love the culture and economic diversity of the children and the parents. It provides a real world experience for the children rather than being exposed to one culture. This is a great center and I am happy that my grandsons attend! read more

My husband and I absolutely love The Learning Experience! Our son has been attending there since he was 10 weeks old and we have had nothing but a positive experience. His teachers are so very loving and warm with him. I truly feel at ease when my son is in their care. The Owner, Director, and Assistant Director have also been great. They were extremely helpful when our son first started at The Learning Experience and are always there if we have any questions. The curriculum is great! My son is now in the Twaddler classroom and is using many different signs throughout the day. He also really enjoys all the curriculum they offer such as art, music, and flexi! I have been sending my daughter to The Learning Experience in Blackwood since she was six weeks old. The staff are very caring and the children are well cared for at this facility. The owner takes an interest in all the children and their parents. In addition, the hours are great and if you are the last to pick up your child you are not made to feel like you are a hassle to the staff. They frequently offer a parents night out on a Friday night, in which, you pay a nominal fee to keep your child there for a night out for several hours. My daughter enjoys going to the center each day. They have retained some long term staff who love the children. Ms. Mary and Ms. Barb are fantastic and all the other ladies who work at TLE. read more

TLE in Blackwood is AMAZING. Mr. Lee and his staff are the kindest, most loving and committeed daycare employees I have ever experienced. My son has been at TLE for over three years and I have seen him thrive and grow in ways I couldn't imagine. They meet with me for Parent/Teacher conferences and have even provided support to me during a nasty Custody situation. My child has special needs and I can tell you that Lee and the staff have accommodated every need of my son without question or hestiation - they even monitor his food for me, since he can't have dyes. One of the worse ran facilities I've ever dealt with. I send my daughter a few days a week and pay as when the tuition is due. I must get a phone call at least once a week telling me I'm late or I am behind on my payment. SORRY not me. When I know for a FACT the people that get help from the state the school gets paid by the state and the parent I would call that FRAUD. I do NOT recommend anyone to send their child there. And let's also talk about the teachers 95% of them are lazy and don't do a thing with the kids but yell. I also don't agree with teachers that are around children should smoke. My son have been going to the learning experience since he was 4months old. He has gone to the location in My. Laurel and is now currently in the location in Blackwood. He is now 2years old and he loves it here. We love the staff and the directors are very nice. The director Lee is always willing to listen and correct any concerns we have about the staff or the enviornment. They care for my son as if he was their own child that's what's more important to me. His developmental skills has also impressively expanded. We are very happy with the care and development of our son here. read more

It was difficult to leave our baby boy to strangers, Director Lee is very understanding and will work with you in any way he possibly can to ease your concerns. Anytime I have had a issue it was minor and Lee and his staff has always been accommodating & the issue was solved immediately. We absolutely love Ms. Vanessa in the twaddler room she is fantastic with our son, she is strict but fair and loving. Our son is happy and learning everyday. We highly recommend TLE as first time parents who want nothing but the best for our son. read more

My wife and I have been very pleased with The Learning Experience. We have 3 kids attending TLE. The staff is very caring and my kids have learned so much here. I love the curriculm and the phonics program. I also love that this school starts doing sign language at such a young age! Mr. Lee has been very accommodating and made the experience a positive one. My son has learned a lot while attending this school. He is now prepared to enter Kindergarten.
