Enter fresh Florida fisheries I popped in on Saturday morning and was immediately impressed how fresh all of the seafood looked and how organized it was basically you order at the counter. The staff is super knowledgeable and they will prep your fish for you however you like. Then they give you a number for your order when you pay, and then you wait for your number to be called. I knew I was looking for for tuna, and my eyes definitely wandered at the selection of fish! The person who helped me was super friendly, suggested the amount that I should be ordering for the party size and was able to clean the fish for me. I also thought that the price was super reasonable for fresh locally caught tuna it was 2499 a pound I got a little bit under 3 pounds for just around $70 and it was incredible. I will definitely be back to explore more of the seafood options that they have. Fish is something that I love to eat, but don't often buy from a grocery store because I get a little weirded out at the quality. Knowing that this is so close to my house with high-quality fish for a great price will make me a returning customer for sure. Parking is pretty chill and easy in their front lot and I'm sure you can park down the street if it's a really busy day. Will be back.

My first visit here and I sort of wish I'd read the other reviews before I came here. If so, I…read morewould have come at a time where I was hungry and for a mere five dollars had them prepare my meal for me. But that being said, I found it to be a very nice fish market. Now there is a huge downside that you immediately encounter when you arrive. The parking lot is exceptionally small and people are parked every which way, except in the spaces. Getting to the actual building will take some time. The neighboring lots have pretty clear signs that they will tell you if you park there. So you're stuck dealing with what it is. The fish variety is good, although not great. If you're looking for strictly local fish, you'll probably find what you want. Several varieties of snapper and the fish looked wonderful and fresh. Some of my favorites like hogfish and grouper. You can buy the whole fish and they'll fillet it for you or you can buy fillets if they have them of the fish that you want. But the part I missed is having them cook it for me. Now that is something I would like to try next time The downside is they strictly local fish. You won't find any flatfish and I was surprised that they did not have any U4 or U6 shrimp which I like to use to make paella. In addition, I did not see fresh scallops. They did have some nice lobster tails although I did not see other shellfish. Some people have said the prices are reasonable; I found them about 20 to 30% higher than other fish markets I visit. The people here are really nice in the market is attractive. I will be back as I said to get a meal cooked for me in part because it is closer than the fish markets I usually visit and also my curiosity after reading other reviews. I recommend this market if you have the patience to wait for a parking space. If you're looking for the larger shrimp for paella look elsewhere

So sad to leave this one. Let me first say the SEAFOOD LOOKED INCREDIBLY FRESH!…read more The issue was, we never got to try any. The language barrier was too great. We asked the server what fish was fresh, what we had walked by and saw in the glass case (it was already filleted), she replied "filet mignon or ribeye!" and gave the kindest smile. She was so nice but no matter how we tried-we couldn't get it figured out so we left. Looked amazing in that fish case though-caught same day for sure! Review is only reflecting the need for training -providing bilingual service would surely grow the restaurant as it looked (and smelled) fantastic, and was clean!

Shopped at Wild Fork and they happened to also hold a free sampling bbq that day where I was able to try a variety of meats that they carry from tri tip to flank steak, and ribs and pork belly to sausages and Mac and cheese to shrimp and fresh focaccia bread. Their products are fresh tasting and tender! The store is super organized and easy to shop and find everything as you look for what you need. Every employee was friendly and helpful overall answering your questions and explaining their products. Prices are very comparable to your local supermarket and even Costco which is great! They also offer a variety of side dishes and fruits and veggies and desserts. Can't wait to cook what I bought and enjoy the freshness and tender cuts of meats. Lovely one stop shop as you plan a nice meal!

Yes, yes, and YES! Floridita Bird Road is a Miami staple for authentic Cuban cuisine. It's been…read morearound forever, and the second you walk in, you feel those vibes. We grabbed seats at the bar around 2 p.m., because yes... there's almost always a line. That's just how it is here. It wasn't going to be a long wait but we always prefer laid back bar seating for lunch. They've expanded over the years to keep up with the crowds, and the fresh seafood display by the door lets you know exactly what they're so special for. Let's start with the fish croquetas because they're in a league of their own. Hands down the best in Miami. We also ordered cod fritters, and every bite tasted incredibly fresh. Before the entree, they bring out a small cup of soup, either fish or lobster bisque, just enough to warm you up before the main event. I went with Creole shrimp, and opted for salad and fried sweet plantains, while hubby ordered fried fish chunks with white rice and black beans. And let's be clear... you can't leave a Cuban restaurant without ordering black beans. There's something about theirs that tastes like they've been simmering in someone's vieja (that's grandmother) kitchen all day. Pure comfort feels. One thing I really appreciate is the portion sizes. They're generous without being over the top, so you leave satisfied instead of needing a nap in the parking lot. And of course, there's only one proper way to end meals like this: flan and a Cuban espresso. If you're visiting Miami, this is one of those places you simply have to experience.

I had the Grilled Red Snapper with rice and fried green plantains. My wife had the Camarones Enchilados (Shrimp in Creole Sauce over rice). My daughter enjoyed her Penne noodles with Butter & Parmesian. She had a refreshing juice drink and the adults had the Spanish Sangria which was very good (from a bottle, not restaurant-made). For dessert we shared a Crema Catalana (Spanish custard) which was a bit small to be honest. Everything else was pretty 'solid' though - fresh, cooked well, no issues. Portions (except for the dessert) and prices were decent. Service was nothing special. We found ourselves looking for the server several times when we needed something. The restaurant has been remodeled and they did a nice job modernizing. You can't really go wrong eating at El Floridita. We'll be back.

The fresh Florida Keys stone crabs are consistently incredible, the mustard sauce is dangerously addictive, and the sides are always on point. The ceviche is hands-down the best I've had anywhere, no exaggeration, and the fish dip is so good it could easily be a full meal by itself. Lucas is next-level amazing. He answers every question, knows the product inside and out, and genuinely cares about making sure you get exactly what you need. On top of that, their wild-caught, flash-frozen fish selection is restaurant-quality and beyond; pure excellence across the board. I would highly recommend Holy Crab Delivery without hesitation to anyone who values premium seafood, impeccable quality, and an ordering experience that is nothing short of world-class. I am really impressed with Milam's Market…read more I went last night for the first time. I was hoping to find some banana chocolate chunk bread from Susilicious, a vendor I recently was made aware of at the Mango Festival that Fairchild Tropical Gardens holds. Turns out that while Milam's carries her goodies, they had no bread. I spoke to who I believe was the manager and he was very kind and found out they don't usually get bread. Just cookies and meringuitos. I ended up buying some cookies. I'm sure they're delicious. I will have to keep hunting for some more bread from Susilicious. I am happy, however, that her brand brought me to Milam's. While there's no way I would shop there on the regular (too far and too expensive for me), the customer service is exemplary and the selection for wine, cheese, and bread are stars. I found rows upon rows of wine. Felt as if I were in a mini wine store. Not to mention all the breads, including Brazilian cheese bread and even prebaked French baguettes. I think the only thing I didn't see was Indian naan, and even, I wonder if I simply missed it. Plenty of vegan and vegetarian meals. Freshly made salads, sushi, and deli products. Oh, and individual Panera Bread soups that I've only ever seen in bulk at BJs and Costco. But the best part? A ridiculous amount of sauces, including arrabbiata.
