My husband and I came to the Lazy Axe to celebrate my birthday....and we had a blast!! We were greeted warmly by Mark, and he went over the rules and showed us different throwing techniques. Neither of us had done this before, and our throws obviously needed some tweaking- and Mark was so friendly and helpful.... it resulted in improved throws! We also had the help of Christian ...equally as fun, friendly and helpful! He engaged us in a few fun games, which was a nice way to add some friendly competition! The hour flew by...and it was filled with fun and lots of laughs! All of the staff we interacted with were genuinely nice and fun! We're hooked....and will most definitely be back! It's a great atmosphere, and we love to support local business! Highly and enthusiastically recommend Lazy Axe!!

My neighbor told me about ax throwing, and it sounded like something a little different to do. So, I gathered up my 2 sisters, a niece, and a sister from another mother and booked a Friday night session. OMG we had so much fun! The staff is very welcoming, and takes the time to show you different ways to throw an ax. The games add another level of fun and competition. We honestly can not wait to go again!

My son and I visited the Lazy Axe during our over night trip to Albany. One of the owners greeted us with great enthusiasm and energy. The entire vibe is chill and relaxed. Christian was out instructor. He was nice and laid back. We had a great time. If I ever in Albany I will be sure to visit again.

My wife and I were looking for something fun and challenging that was also reasonably "pandemic friendly". The Lazy Axe was an awesome hour that succeeded in all regards. We did a "small group" session that included an hour of personalized guidance, feedback on how to improve our throws, guided games, and teaching us some trick shots. The attached picture is an example of one of many great throws resulting from their excellent guidance.

My wife took me here yesterday (she'd been here before) and we had a great time. Overhand, underhand, both hands. Throwing axes is great fun. Our Axepert, Danielle was a lot of fun and very instructive. Highly recommended, and looking forward to going again!

There were 8 of us and our axepert was great about showing us different throws, giving us tips, and guiding us through games.
