Definitely not Pit Stop laundromat. Maybe it's just Pit Stop has spoiled me, but, this laundromat shows they take credit cards which is very important to me. What they don't tell you is that the machines don't take credit cards themselves, like Pit Stop does, they require you to purchase a laundry card? With the same credit card the machine could take itself? But instead you have to pay a dollar to get a card that you now have to remember when you come to the laundromat. Also, I only needed $7.50 to do the laundry but you had to buy at least a $10 card? So now I have a money sitting on a card that I'll never use. Maybe they know that? The machines are all definitely pretty new although there were quite a few of them out of order. It seems to be a little bit pricier than Pit Stop but probably not too overly priced for the market. Very nice restrooms and a couple TVs on the wall with something on them. It took me awhile to figure out the card system as you don't slide the card through anything you just lay it on front of the machine and push the button while the card still laying there or else haha plus they don't have an attendant so there was nobody there to explain stuff to me like there is at Pit Stop, plus if you have a problem instead of having somebody to talk to they've got a number for you to call? So it all just depends on what you're looking for because this place is right on Market Street whereas Pit Stop is all the way over on East Oakland Drive at Princeton. And realistically it is probably a three and a half to Four Star Laundromat since it very early in the readings my two star should make the overall rating somewhere in the three and a half to four star range. Seeing it was a five star and it stopped was only a for Plus my expectations for the place may have been a little high! read more
