This is the last place in town I'd ever go to do my laundry. For two reasons, one is the fact that they deceptively label the pricing
by use of 'nondescript' wash load codes,
and a non-matching, and non-sequential corresponding 'number system' to press on washers, to receive 'what you've paid for'.
The end result is that most people end up paying way more than they should've paid.
Secondly, and even more offensive, is the
foul-smelling, pushy, strange attendant, a senior woman whom supervises the place.
She told me that I'll "burn in hell if (I) don't
let Jesus touch and save (me) right now."
I found it extremely insulting and offensive
that the woman didn't respect the fact that each customer may have their own beliefs.
It's just plain unprofessional and extremely inappropriate to aggressively promote her
religious or political beliefs in a workplace,
or place open for business with the public.
'Carrie' (as she identified herself) needs to shower and learn some business etiquette.
Before I left, she ranted on and on about how "the U.S. went to hell when they took
mandatory prayer out of all public schools."
Sorry lady, but our country was founded on the separation of church and government.
There are two better laundries on Monroe.
*Update: other customers have notified me
'Carrie' is Mary's alias, due to her losing so many jobs and accusations of fraud on her. read more
