Today I overheard the lady running the cash register telling another customer "Oh we give these to our loyal customers to save money" and proceeds to hand her a card. There is a game that I was trying to win for several weeks and I would get excited thinking about being able to stop in to play the game hoping to win. The game I was playing is close to the restrooms. The objective of the game is to hold down a button and release it on whatever number prize you want. I was trying to get #1 and #3 both were in clear little boxes and the prize was a one hundred dollar bill. Well last week I had a few dollars on me and to my surprise I WON ON #3 A HUNDRED DOLLARS !!!! I WON. I NEVER WIN ANYTHING.Well the game did not give me my prize. I was so upset and frustrated and I figured if I go up to the counter and ask Prea what I need to do things would be resolved with no problem.She did not know what to tell me and brushed off my concern like I she didn't care.The owner came out from her office and I told her what had happened and she said she didn't know she would have to contact the man who owned the game. I politely said okay and went on to my house.I got in the drive way and said no I am going back. I wrote my name , phone number, as well as the timeframe I played the game and what prize I had one. I thought I would get a call or the owner could view her camera at that time I was there.When I got there to drop off my letter with contact info I looked on the game for a service # and there was none.I am a very passive person and I know it's only $100.00 dollars but a $100.00 is a lot of money to me. I returned 5 minutes late at 1:10pm ON THE DOT and found my laundry in trash bags. Now I agree that my clothes should've been bagged. I wasn't there to tend to them and others may have needed to use the machines but what I was rather baffled by was when looking around the facility, which was not full, I counted 10 open dryers not in use. Nearly HALF of their dryers. And my clothes were still in trash bags at the front of the store. Still, I apologized and started to take the bags and leave, until I was told that she wanted the trash bags back. I apologized again and emptied out my laundry. Now I'm not upset that clothes were in bags, I get it. I was late. What I am upset about and what I thought was extremely rude was when the woman working preceded to talk about me loudly with another customer. I had the pleasure of hearing her discuss that ''This is the real world' 'Who does she this she is?' and 'If she can afford a car then she obviously doesn't need to be here.' adding that 'She can afford to buy a dryer.' all while I folded my clothes near by. While bagging clothes is probably procedure, being rude isn't so I don't recommend this place. To the owner of this business I did not know that this was only a laundry mat for, by your employees standards, and I quote 'lower income customers' To readers of this post if you're looking for a laundry mat that chargers 25¢ per 5 minutes of dry time and that treats you like you're 'low class' then this is apparently 'your' place. The owner is here on site many hours during the day to help people and give pleasant advice to help customers get the most washing and drying for their money. By the way, there is free wi-fi on site.
