I've been going here to get my eyelashes done since November 2018. I haven't really had a bad experience with anyone here. I usually go to Zera, but I have gone to Maribel and Susie and have been just as satisfied with them. I like that I can change people and still get quality work. As long as I'm vocal on what I want or if something doesn't feel right or if I don't like something, they always fix it or help me fix it. The front desk receptionists are always kind to me when I come it and always make sure I have everything I need. I book online typically and their online website is pretty easy to navigate. Sunny has been my fixer for 4 appointments. My volume and size has been modified to perfection. Today is problaby the best and quickest appointment so far. When I moved to North County I needed to find a new place to get my lashes done. I came across the Lash Lounge just as they were opening. I stopped in, got a really good feeling and decided to make an appointment with Michelle. I just got my fourth fill from Michelle and I couldn't be happier. I got classic the first two times, and volume the next two times. I loved both but I am going to stick with volume because on my very thin lashes they are lighter and lasted longer. The salon is clean, and comfortable. The salon beds are cozy and the warm blanket makes it super easy for me to fall into a deep lash nap :) I love the ease of scheduling on MINDBODY and am so grateful for the Saturday schedule! I've now been to the lash lounge for two appointments and absolutely love the results. I'm 8 months pregnant and wanted to treat myself to some self care that added zero fuss to my every day. I've been so happy with my lashes, I can wake up and go and not worry about putting on mascara and eyeliner to complete my look. The lounge is very relaxing, I've actually fallen asleep both times, no joke. The professionals are excellent, I felt like they really heard me out on the look I wanted and delivered on it. On my first visit, I was given a large discount to give a 5 star review, so I did. At the time, I thought it was good, my lashes looked good after the application. However, I had significant lash loss right away. I didn't know the policy that you had to report it immediately, so they wouldn't fix it. I came back, basically same thing happened again. Didn't plan to return. The manager called, asked me to try one of their senior people, which was more money, but ended up being good. I signed up for their ongoing program. Problems started to occur with my preferred stylist, and they cancelled on me countless times, and I had to go to a different stylist I wasn't as happy with. Too many problems to go into, but basically, I left a unhappy customer. Most of my unhappiness is due to the way things were handled by the manager Hannah, as a result of all the cancellations (they cancelling my appointents) and iffy lash jobs I got from the replacement stylists. Things you should take away: 1. They are basically paying for good reviews, so don't believe everything (I wrote that first good review before I knew the retention was so bad and that they wouldn't do anything about it) 2. I would recommend not signing up for the subscription service, so if you have problems you can just leave 3. Stylists are all nice, but they do not deal with you if you have problems, it is the management which is not nice and not customer oriented 4. Overall, I do not recommend, but think that I have a better experience when I am dealing directly with a stylist who will deal directly with you if there is any sort of problem read more

Pretty much everyone I know has lash extensions and the idea of never having to put on mascara seems amazing so I decided to give it a try. Lash Lounge was having a $30 flash sale & I jumped on it. The two girls up front were nice. The place seemed clean and well kept. Zera was my stylist and she was sweet. I chose to get the volume deluxe set, though judging by lashes I think it may not have been deluxe that I was given. The process was super easy (I even fell asleep at one point) and overall I am happy with the results. The only complaint I have with the lashes is that I wanted them much fuller. The only complaint with the appointment overall is that someone has brought their children in and they were incredibly loud; screaming & laughing. It really took away from the whole experience. As a mother myself, the last thing I want when I'm having some "me time" is to hear someone else's kids acting wild. I think Lash Lounge should enforce the no kids rules. Overall, nice staff, great specials, clean environment & I am sure I will be back. read more

I am totally disappointed with Lash Lounge Encinitias. I went in had a great experience, loved the lashes THEN I found out I had Cancer and was going to have 7 weeks of Chemo and Radiation, I froze my account for 6 mos. This was good. 6 mos past I went in, another good experience except my eyes reacted to the lashes, swelled, itch and lashes came off, I waited another month and tried again, same results. I went in the next day to cancel, it was done verbally, not sure if the receptionist understood procedures, anyway I thought I was canceled until I saw bank statements, went in to get a refund for the 2 months I won't use. Because it wasn't written I get no refund, when asked what they are going to do, I received gift cards which I didn't want but took anyway. Should of went to bank first and had it taken care of. I find there was no compassion or understanding by the manager. read more

I would give them 0 stars if I could. Went in for full hybrid lash extensions and 50 percent fell off within 48 hours. They offered a refill but they got the appointment time wrong, then wanted to charge me a missed appointment for a "free" refill. Not happy with the product, less with personnel I spoke with manager to request a refund. She was rude and unpleasant. Not willing to refund. Would NOT recommend this spot. read more

Went 2 weeks ago for full set of lashes. My studio (of 8 years) closed owner relocating. So I thought I would give this studio a try. Full set was nice, bu t pricey $$$$. Today I went for my first fills.Manager Hannah was too busy trying to fix phone system, shouting with someone on her cell. Never once greeting me. ( how about a" Hi I will be right with you") Arrived 10 minutes early for a 10:00 appt. at 10:10, I asked when my appt will start since I am scheduled for 10am, she (Hannah), said oh ok. I mentioned I am there for fill and need to leave by 11. She replied, Oh the stylist just lost track of time. 10:18 Stylist comes out to greet me. Cleaning her hands with ONLY hand sanitizer. Now shouldn't you wash your hands with soap and water when you get the next client??? After another 15 minutes to clean and prep the eye area, Anastasia started placing lashes, with her 2 1/2 nails that kept scraping my eye lids and face,and she was using her nails to place and hold on lashes. ( now back to the LACK of hand washing....) How did the hand sanitizer get under those 2 1/2 inch nails??? A: It didn't. GROSS. It was bad enough that I was the second customer of the day, Hate to be the last. Approx. 10-13 lashes were placed in over 30 minutes at the cost of 95.00. I had a membership which I cancelled. I would not recommend Lash Lounge, Not just because of this stylist professionalism and lack of sanitary conditions. Hannah the Manager tried to brush it off by saying, "Oh she was in a hurry" Sorry Hannah NO EXCUSE. read more

Making an appointment was clear and easy, the reminders for my appointment where frequent but perfect, walking into the lash lounge I was greeted with warm smiles which made me feel very welcomed. Once checked i was quickly greeted with my lash lady. She was the sweetest women! She welcomed me by saying "hello beautiful" which made me feel really good! Then she explained the steps to me perfectly and asked al the right questions and answered all my questions. As I layed down I was cover with a blanket that made me feel very comfortable and relaxed during my lash experience. The lashes where done in a timely manner and the lady continuously asked if I was okay and if I felt uncomfortable which was very reassuring seeing that it was my first time getting my lashes done. Afterwords we went over the steps on how to take care of my lashes and seemed to be very concerned if I liked her work(she was so sweet!) overall an amazing experience! I was happy trying out the service however, all of a sudden the rules changed and the attitudes changed once I signed up for the membership. I was treated extremely rudely and disrespected by the "manager" Hanna, I explained to her that I received an email that said that I could pay for my membership in person, and she told me I could not. My appointment was scheduled for the very next day. They already had my card on file and everything, but because I asked to pay for my membership in person at the time of my appointment, she refused and said in a matter of words that she could not trust that I would come to the appointment, even though I took the time to call in advance and let them know what I needed to do, and even though I received an email that said I could pay in person. She also said that they are not required to post their policies online or even if the email says I have the option to do something that does not mean that they have to follow what the email says. I was so embarrassed and upset at the way I was treated on the phone by the manager Hanna. I am writing an email to their corporate franchise office explaining how rude and disrespectful they are to customers at this location. I will surely not return with my business. They have lost what could have been a very loyal customer. Do not take the membership, apparently the customer service ends when you do. Then Hannah, responds to my post on here and includes false information, trying make me look bad. I had NO problem with paying for my service, and I told her I would pay when I came for my appointment which the email that they sent me said I could do. I received free services because they posted on Instagram saying they were looking for lash models, to train there new stylists, now she is trying to reply to my review and say that someone they did me a favor by asking for people to come in for free service to train THEIR models. I'm entitled to leave a negative review if I feel like I was treated unfairly and Hannah If you read this your tone of voice with me on the phone when you told me that you didn't have to include your policies in an email, and even if the email stated that I could come and pay in person, you told me you did not have to honor what the email said. I never knew anything about your "POLICY" before our conversation. And as I told you several times on the phone I had zero problem paying for the service I simply asked if I could pay at the time of my appointment which was less than 24 hours later. I have included a picture of the email that states you can pay in person. So your attempt to make it look like I'm the one with the problem falls flat. You need to be a better manager and learn better customer service. I wish you the best as well. Good luck read more
