First and last time.......... They didn't know what they were doing and the lady who did my lift and tint admitted she wasn't very experienced with what she did AFTER THE FACT! This is something that a person has a right to know in advance when dealing with someone's eyes! My eyes burned for several minutes, I couldn't even open them. They expected that I should pay again to have someone else do what wasn't done right the first time while trying to make me feel bad saying the lady who would supposedly do the job correctly would get the money from the girl who didn't do the job correctly and not entirely kind about it, instilling a complete lack of confidence and trust for me to allow them to touch my eyes ever again. The customer should never be made to know that and just be offered a resolve in a respectful manner. Needless to say I canceled the so-called fix appointment. Complete waste of money. I did not get what I paid for and it is concerning when someone isn't experienced. Go somewhere else! read more

We arrived early and we weren't waiting that long to be assisted during our apt. The lady who was going to do the lashes was nice and even showed pictures to her client too differentiate the different styles. The client (my mom) said she had some minor back pain from laying down for 2hrs straight and they were a little longer than she expected but overall she likes them and said they were better looking than the nail salon ones. The aesthetics of the waiting area is nice, but not a big ig photo nice. They do state they have an ig photo set up but we didn't check it out as that wasn't the clients thing. The price starts at 89 but does go up. We will see how they last. read more

I got charged for a full appointment because I got Covid and was unable to attend. Guess I'll just go next time? ‍ I understand cancellation fees and what not but I didn't ask for Covid and I think I did the world a favor by staying home but you know, it's cool. They didn't even charge a cancellation fee, they charged me for the full appointment. Also, My very first visit there I felt really uncomfortable and my first tech was really heavy handed, I was in pain most of the experience due to being clawed in the forehead numerous times but I side stepped it, paid, left and decided to try again. The second set was okay.. I didn't feel any more welcomed than I did the first time. There is just an unwelcoming energy in that building. Someone tell me, should I have just gone to my appointment running a fever to avoid getting charged? Clarification to the response: I did call, I did tell someone I was running a 102 degree fever and violently throwing up. I returned thinking maybe someone was having an off day? Okay, I was waiting until I returned a few times for a fill before I reviewed so I could get a good opinion and feel of the lash work. I must say I love my lashes! I went with Ashley on my initial appointment because upon my research, her name was mentioned the most and highly regarded amongst the customers. The location is a cute boutique in the Fair Park area. There's always been ample street parking when I've gone but there isn't any dedicated parking for this place in particular. The inside is very chic and cute, with a social media selfie area to show off your lash/eyebrow work. They've made pretty good use of the space by setting up the technicians with their own little areas for their clients. Ashley's are is upstairs in the back which is prime because you don't get all of the downstairs/stairs/walking noise. I had an appointment with someone else who was at the first area upstairs, and you could feel and hear every footstep, it was a little unnerving honestly. Ashley is great, very professional, asks questions to see how you want your lashes etc. I didn't know how I wanted them so I let her do her thing. I loved how they turned out initially but after a week, they were pretty non-existent. When I went back for my two-week fill I spoke to her about it and she took a look and noticed that my lashes were pretty delicate and the extensions she used may have been a little too heavy, so she switched it up on the fill to a shorter lash which worked perfectly. On my third fill, Ashley wasn't available on the date that I was so she booked me with another technician. I wasn't really impressed with the substitution, she was a little rough and not as pleasant as Ashley but my lashes were nice. I'd definitely continue to patronize the Lash Loft, this was one of the only locations that did not require you to join or have automatic memberships in order to continue to be a customer. read more

I had an appointment for a lash lift. I was running a few minutes late because I was not familiar with the area. When I arrived, I was told Vonnie took lunch during the time slot I was given with her. She arrived 30 minutes late telling me she ran out of gas. I didn't say anything since I was already there. And I totally understand a lunch break is necessary, but not when you're scheduled to see someone. I could have been booked to a later time. Cleanliness - Beds were dirty. Restroom was dirty as well. Lash lift - I thought I liked it at first; however, I looked at it in dimmed lighting. The lighting in the restroom was a little better showing that the center of my top lash in one eye was done terribly. I asked if that could be fixed. They told me that it was because of the way my lash grows. Not true. All my other lash lifts from my other lash lady who moved curled perfectly fine in that section of my lashes. When I went to the car and reviewed my lashes in better lighting, I was extremely disappointed. Instead of smooth curls, it was boxy. Some lashes were crinkly. Other lashes pointed in a crooked direction instead of straight. Because of these mistakes, I now have to be very strategic when applying mascara. Sorry, but I do not recommend this place for lash lifts. read more

TOTALLY worth the splurge! (Not that they don't already have great prices.) I already have pretty thick lashes, but after seeing the results of Preston's AMAZING work on one of my friends, I had to go in. Since I'd never had this done before I really appreciated the time Preston took to explain not just the process, but HIS specific process. Apparently he glues the lashes on in a certain way so that they are more secure and it helps the set of lashes last longer. Cool! Unfortunately, you can't chit-chat while you're getting your lashes done like you can at say, a hair salon, but the ambiance of the building made me feel so comfortable and the lash application process is so easy and painless that I ended up falling asleep! LOL :P The lashes came out SO great that Preston wanted to grab a photo. I love a selfie, so why not? But my eyebrows weren't groomed at all... No worries, The Lash Loft will take care of that too! Ricky threaded my eyebrows. This day was just a day of ~*new experiences*~ for me, haha :) The threading process was about as painful as waxing or plucking, but it was MUCH faster than going in for a waxing session. I have been a client here for at least a year. And today I come in for an appointment with my sister, who is getting her lashes done for the first time. The woman, Abby, was sitting in a chair and didn't even greet us, I had to greet her first, but told us in a rude tone that "only customers can be inside and guests have to go back out". I told her that we are both getting lashes done. Abby then said "ok, well, you still need to go wait in the car". Keep in mind that at this time there is no one else in the building, and no other employees. Then my favorite person, Lauren showed up and brought me in. Once I was up there I told Lauren that her next customer was my sister who was coming to have her lashes done for the first time. I wanted to introduce her to my sister and have her see my lashes get done first. We were the only ones upstairs and since my sister and I are in the same household, Lauren allowed her to come in and watch. During my appointment another employee, Ricky, came into the store just to kick my sister out while she waited for her appointment. Ricky was disrespectful and made my sister feel uncomfortable and not want to be there at all. Especially since this was going to be a new customer. Ricky then left as soon as my sister went to the car. It seemed like she was asked by Abby to come in just to kick my sister out. It really felt like we were being bullied by these two employees, Abby and Ricky. The Lash Loft never posted the rules to waiting for appointments, and I know every place is dealing with changing COVID policy, but instead of being professional, Abby was rude and really just made me want to leave. It would be nice to have the rules emailed or posted to the website so clients don't have to deal with rude employees. I will come for Lauren to have my lashes done because she is always nice and does a great job. She is the only respectful person here and always has been each and every time I have come here. I highly recommend her if you want to have lashes done here. However, I would never have Abby or Ricky do my lashes and they are a horrible example of how to conduct business. I work at a salon in Uptown, so I have many customers with lash exntensions come in every day. When i was deciding to take the plunge into getting them, I started surveying all of my customers about where they go, and their opinions on them. (Some had better lashes than others, so I did ask to find out who to not go to as well!) Lash Loft was recommended to me by a friend of it's owner, Lauren. The friend's lashes looked amazing, and she mentioned their $100 full set special they were running. I decided to go to them, and have been completely happy ever since. I've been getting my lashes done with them for 4 or 5 months now, and love seeing either Lauren or Abby. They really listen to what differences you want for your next set (longer, shorter, thicker, etc.), and will do just that. I had an experience where I felt like they were falling out too quickly, and I called with concern over this and Patrick got me in to see Lauren the next day. She explained to me I'd gone through a lash cycle, which happens once a month, and said it's natural for them to fall out and new ones grow back. Despite the cause being totally my own body, she redid them for me free of charge. They also have a referral program, where if you refer three people you get a fill for free. My customers are always complementing mine and I send them to LL, and they are equally as pleased with their results. My first experience with the lash loft was amazing! It was my first time trying lash extensions and Lauren did an amazing job explaining how to properly take care of them and the first set lasted for about 2 weeks which made me a really happy customer. I recently went back this past Friday for a fill which the website suggested 30 minutes for $30 and i booked a session with ricki Tapia then at the end she over charged me which was $80 including tip. I was not happy with the job she had done my right eye had more eyelashes than my left one, but i just wanted to give this place a try so i did not say anything. When she charged me she asked me if i wanted to leave anything on the tab and i did not understand her, so i said no it's okay. Then she asked me again, meaning she was more worried about her tip than what the job she had done. Monday came and i spoke to her and she said i could get a cash refund which was what i had expected, then i asked to speak to the owner and he called me back on Tuesday he professionally resolved my issue and gave me a refund. A few days has passed and my left eye has 4 eyelash extensions and my right eye has a few more, and the glue gave me an allergic reaction. I am not coming back to this place. Lauren, the owner is good, capable and likeable. However, the rest of their staff is terrible. I have had lash extension for over 2 years. Breanna's lashes look good for two days and fall out on third day. I gave it 3 tirals and finally gave up. Rickie is a nice person but simply bad at doing lash extensions. The lashes looked terrible from the start and did not last. Breanna needs to improve her customer service skills and make up for mistakes when her work does not last. Also it should common courtesy to not answer phone calls and book appointments while you doing someones lashes. (Unless it an absolute emergency) My advice to Lauren would be to get new lash extension staff and train them properly. read more

Ok y'all, I was warned my first visit well over a year or two ago that I would become addicted... I'm not going to meetings for this addiction because, simply put, the lash loft ladies make me look too fabulous it would be a disservice to not have them done. My most recent visit was with Breana and WOW, did she impress the mascara off of me! (Haha, get it, nuvalashes= no need for mascara!) Breana was patient as she went over the different lengths of lashes and was super sweet in helping me decide on the perfect length, 14, like always. Why I think I want to stray from what I know works is beyond me. If it's not broke, don't fix it... Or something like that.
