This place is known for looking the other way for young girls to go tanning without parent's signing for authorization. When I talked to the owner about it she was unwilling to admit they did anything wrong, called the teenagers obnoxious, and then said she was filing police charges against them. Fortunately the Utah Count Health Department has now gotten involved since this isn't their first violation. Hopefully this place gets shut down. read more

The lash lift I received was not successful, they told me to call next day because sometimes it would settle. It was not my case, I called in and they told me refund will be issued. After couple of months when I did not receive the refund I called again. I talked with the owner and she said that they dont do refunds and have no idea who I talked to and is probably not working there anymore. She arrogantly refused to resolve my issue. Morning came and Even though this lady Isabella had a full day, she made room for me asap to help me remove my lashes. I thought the girl that did my lashes seemed to be doing a great job!! I was a little shocked when after 30 minutes she said we were done and still charged me full price which was $50 for a fill. I'm used to other places that will fill your lashes for an hour and a half or if the appointment gets cut short they will certainly cut the price of the Fill. Extensions fell out the day I got them. Had to get a 1-week fill because they were for MY WEDDING, not just some random everyday thing. I was told they used old glue and was offered no refund or discount for the previous service. They continued to fall out. I had to have a sister put fake lashes in parts that were gaps on my wedding day. Major regret. $200 wasted and I don't have a disposable income. Very disappointed. I was told that the girls working knew they were using old glue and they were told by manager or owner or somebody told them to use it so it wouldn't waste, and not to give refunds. NOT a way to run a business. Ridiculous and I should have a refund or discount since they have now almost all fallen out and some have taken my actual lashes with them. The Lash Bar is such a fabulous place to have your lashes extended and added to your existing lashes. Rachel and Tasha are wonderful women who welcome you with open arms. Actually they all do. They also do many other services. I had breast cancer last year and beat it. However, the extended chemo made my lashes and eyebrows hard to grow back. Once I received my lashes done by Rachel, I felt feminine again. Thank you Rachel. It's the little things we take for granted that once lost, makes an impact on how you feel. I took my 8-year-old daughter to The Lash Bar to get the tips of her hair colored purple. She has thin, shoulder length hair. The stylist bleached the tips and colored them purple and told us the color would last a few weeks. She charged us $55 which seemed expensive to me considering how thin my daughter's hair is and the fact that it's not very long. Within 3 days, the purple color was pretty much gone, after my daughter had only showered once. I called the salon to find out how this can be fixed...to spend $55 for 3 days worth of color is insane! The receptionist was snooty and informed me that $55 is on the very low end for a "high end" salon. I let the price go but asked if the color could be fixed. I was told the stylist would be texted and I'd be contacted for an appt to fix it. I'm still waiting for that call! I decided to go buy dye myself and the associate at Sally's looked at my daughter's hair and pointed out chunks that weren't even bleached. There were also big pieces of hair that had somehow missed getting dyed purple. I'll never use The Lash Bar again. The quality of the service we received was not "high end" at all and the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. read more

I've been twice now to Lash Bar - once to get a 3-week fill, and then once to get a quick touch-up right before my wedding. I LOVE THEM! The girls do such great work, they're friendly, scheduling an appointment online is super easy, and they're really fair about pricing. For my pre-wedding touch up, they took me right away despite the fact that I showed up 30 minutes earlier than my appointment. I was in and out before my appointment should have even started, and they didn't even want to charge me (I just left a tip). Besides that, they really take pride in their work. If it takes an extra hour to make you look absolutely perfect, they will give you that time without penalizing you. My lashes came out looking amazing, and I got tons of compliments. read more

I moved to Utah from CA and had several great lash artists (and some not so great) over the years. The task of finding someone new to do my lashes after the move was a bit daunting between artists either not taking new clients or delays in communication. I found The Lash Bar online, their booking system is THE BEST EVER, so convenient and less stressful since I don't have to personally text a lash artist to schedule/adjust my appointments. I was randomly assigned Monica Mecham as my lash artist and she has been AMAZING. I've had her lash me about 5-6 times now (enough time to really get a feel for the longevity/quality of the work) and the volume, retention and my lash health is literally the best I've ever experienced. I never leave reviews, but this place and my lash gal really deserve some fantastic recognition for their work and I'm so appreciative that I stumbled upon this place! BEWARE of THE LASH BAR!! Faulty products!! I had my lashes done two days in a row at THE LASH BAR cuz the first set fell out in clumps overnight!! My eyes burned and burned for several days after each appt. I went back the very next day to have them fixed, my girl had quit (kinda wonder if there is bad morale) the new tech got to see how badly my eyelashes were falling out. She then informs me that the company only offers a 15 minute courtesy fill (as if they are doing me a favor by fixing their own sloppy work) I paid for them and they didn't deliver!! So she gives me my 15 min and possibly 5-10 min more because we got talking and she lost track of time. No sooner than me getting home, an eyelash or two fall out, I don't panic because I know one or two can be normal but by the morning they were all over the bed and my face. So frustrated by now, I call The Lash Bar and the girl tells me it's their policy to never give refunds, only try and try again. Whaaa? NEVER give refunds?? Are they saying they will NEVER mess up, therefore no refunds are necessary? Or is this how the owner takes advantage of her own clients? She also says that you only have two days to come back for a 15 min fill, to fix their own mistakes, unbelievable! It's not MY fault my eyelashes are snapping off, I should get a full session because that's what I paid for, not whatever they can get done in 15 min, what a cheapskate! She set up her policies so she would never ever be on the loosing side, even when it's her salons fault. Anyway, I leave a message for Melissa the owner to call me ASAP but I never hear a peep back from her. I call again in the next couple days and am more firm about talking to Melissa, they finally get her to call me back. She tells me it's the company policy to never offer refunds, I ask her "aren't you the owner?" She says yes. I tell her it's in her power to refund me and then she goes around in circles about how she can't get the money back from the girls cuz she already paid them, I politely remind her, is irrelevant to me. I paid for a service with an promised end product and that product is defective so I need a refund, it's not that hard to understand. I ask her if they all use the same glue just to make sure the problem wasn't an off brand glue or something and she says yes. She wants me to come in yet AGAIN and have someone else work on me for 15 min but that she might offer me a few extra min. I told her I did not want to do it all over again, to end up with the same results, same glue, same results. Then she hangs up on me, I try calling her back but she obviously turned her phone off. I leave her a message to please call me back ASAP and I get a text the next day saying "sorry we were disconnected" that's it, no call, no relevant text, nothing. I do not trust Melissa and neither should you, a business owner that does not take responsibility for her business mistakes is a business you should run away from. She set it up so she is always in a "win win" situation, pretty selfish. Her business will go under if she continues to care for her customers last. If she decides to pay me back my money, I will post an update. Don't use this place! read more

This salon is awful, I came in and got full set of lashes done at the cost of $200 for classic lashes! this is absurd!! Not only that, but after I got them done they all fell out the same week! This wasn't the only problem scheduling was the worst experience. They said they would schedule the apt and would text me when it was, but lone and behold she never did. Next she called me to tell me I missed the appointment that I had no text confirming the time or date of and she tried to charge me a missed appointment fee.
