This is by far one of the cutest and cleanest little studios I've been to in Reno. Everything is all pink and sparkly and girly and it really makes me feel like I'm treating myself whenever I come in. The studio manager, Julia, is one of the sweetest human being you will ever meet and she always makes it a point to check in on me and keep up to date on what's going on in my life even though I only come in monthly. It really makes me feel like I'm special and they really care about my business. I come in once a month to get the luxury treatment facial. And while it seems a little pricey, it gets my skin back to healthy and glowing for the entire month and Megan is always trying out new products and techniques to make sure my skin is the best it can be. She's such a talented aesthetician, and she's always challenging herself to get better at her craft. Not to mention, the studio has a ton of skincare, lash care, and cute practical things to purchase. I leave with something new every time because they're always bringing in new products and items that are must haves. I can't get enough of Reno Luxury Lash and you should too! Will never go to this place and never recommended it EVER!!!! I made an appointment for my eye lashes extensions for my wedding next weekend, I called 24 hours ahead three times, for some reason, there was no body answered the phone, l left a voice message. Just for double check, I called again today, which is my appointment day, the manager said they don't have a record that shows I left a voice message or they have any missed call from me, so they have to charge me 50% of the eye lashes extensions cost, which is $85. This is so ridiculous!!!!!!! I understand that they have set up everything to get ready for my appointment, I did call three times and left them a voice message to cancel my appointment 24 hours ahead, what else can I do ??? Ladies, for your beauty,go somewhere else. PS: after I posted this comment here, the manager or owner commented below said they tried to wave the fee or reschedule it for me, which was not true. I called them on the day of my schedule to make sure they cancel my schedule, she insisted they don't have any record that I called and left a message, so they have to charge me. Okay. I wouldn't outright recommend this salon to anyone, but I've only only received a lash lift & tint, and brow wax here. My sister, only a lash lift & tint. The services are fine, but oh my god their customer server is lacking. Everyone is nice, don't get my wrong. But expect to spend all day here. It's insane how slow everyone moves. Currently I'm waiting for my sister to be done with her service and it's been one hour and seventeen mins. I booked an appointment 2 1/2 weeks ahead of time. The day before I was supposed to come I received a text that says your appointment is a half an hour earlier then it was scheduled. No phone call just come at 9 not 9:30. The girl was super slow. My normal lash girl takes about a half an hour for my lashes and she took an hour and 15 minutes. Then I came out to pay ( yes I had to pay 1/2 just to make the appointment) And they tried to charge me $35 more than the original price that we agreed to. Thankfully I did not have to pay anything about what I agreed to when I signed up. They said because I was a new Customer there was three additional charge. This salon is very pretty inside and the chair was super comfy to be in. The girl that did my eyelashes was also very friendly. However, I got my eyelashes done a week ago initially for a vacation and was planning on maintaining them but after a few days there are very few left. One of my eyes had many coming off in the first few days of having them applied, which I thought was just shedding until it didn't even really look like I got them done at all. This was right when I was leaving for my vacation and most of one side had completely fallen out and the opposite side was still full. I would try and brush the side with less lashes and try to fluff it out but I just continued to lose more and more. Fast forward a few days later and almost all of the lashes have fallen out. This is super frustrating because I had paid a lot of money for the full set to have them almost completely gone in a week. The moment you walk in it is so great and has such a 'cozy' feel to it and everyone there is extremely welcoming and just such fun, and great people I went there to get my very first set of lashes and was a bit nervous and had some questions but Trina was able to answer every single one, and make me feel comfortable. I unfortunately had an allergic reaction to the glue that they use; I called and told them, and was told to use Claritin. No follow up or description of the actual ingredients. My lashes looked amazing, but apparently no one cares about my actual health. That's super disappointing. My eyes hurt and have been swollen since my visit. I called to cancel my appointment set in 2 weeks, with no concern for me. No follow up, no other options, and I'm miserable. The receptionist just told me to take Claritin, but turns out that doesn't work for everyone. It's disappointing that they don't care about your eye health; I'm swollen and miserable still, but they didn't follow up with me. That's hugely disappointing. There are a lot of people doing Lashes out there. I had lashes put on at a different salon and had a terrible reaction to the adhesive. I went back to the gal who put them on to have them removed and she wasn't able to remove them. I called Trina to see if she could remove them and she had me come in on her lunch hour! I won't let anyone but Trina touch my lashes again! She is an expert!!!!! I highly recommend this salon to anyone who is considering lash extensions, your eyes aren't worth the gamble. Just got home from another awesome appointment with Jena this afternoon. The energy in the salon is so wonderful and tranquil, and her room is designed with the client's comfort in mind. In fact, the bed is so comfortable and I was so relaxed, I think I might have dozed off a few times. Because I wear glasses and because of the way they fit, the traditional long lashes that work for most people don't work for me. Over the years, Jena has experimented with different brands, styles and lengths of lashes to find just "the" right combination for me. She even has them set aside with my name on the container...to make sure I get the right lashes every time so my look is consistent. Believe me, to create lush, volume lashes using shorter ones is a real art - and Jena is truly a lash artist.
