The scalp massage was incorporated into the 60 minutes, not in addition to, which took away from the 60 minute massage. It's misleading. I wouldn't have paid for an "add-on" if I had known. When I booked it, it said total time was 1hr 15. And when I later asked, they said that includes clean-up time. What does clean-up time have to do with the time shown to the guest? There's also a reason Dolce Vita had availability last-minute, when Atlantis and Peppermill didn't. Dolce is simply not worth the price. The amenities are very very average. In the ladies room, there's only a steam room and sauna. The shampoo and conditioner are poor quality too. The men's room (according to my partner) doesn't even have a steam room. I've visited Dolce about three times, and this past weekend will be my list. You can get a much better experience elsewhere, and for less money. The masseuses are good, but the customer service is just ok. Really wish they'd be more upfront about add-ons, and really wish they'd step up their amenities because the location has potential.

She did a procedure that's called a "exchange " because I had an implant that burst. I'm not sure why it did but it hurt me tremendously. I initially was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2010 and had a double mastectomy at the time. That surgeon did a horrific job because they were incredibly tight so I had them redone in 2014 to make them smaller and just more comfortable at that point. When I started to have pain in my right implant I could tell that the implant had ruptured just because how it looked and felt. The pain is also a good indicator. I went to see Dr. McCormack at her beautiful office that has the surgery center in the same building. Great for her! Nice planning. The front desk people made sure the would not be happy to help with the insurance in anyway...My surgery would be covered since the implant burst. It was a complete pain to get them to get me the doc notes and photos. The lied to me a couple of times until I FINALLY received them. I mean 10 grand is a great vacation for me. I would never get any further procedures at this office because you barely deal with the doc just with those awful front desk persons. I get it you don't want to deal with insurance but seriously they just couldn't be bothered with my request. Annoying

Before surgery, I felt supported by both her and her team, which made me feel confident going into the procedure. However, my experience on the day of surgery and throughout the post-op process was very different. I did not receive my post-op instructions before or after surgery. I asked the team for them after the procedure and was told they would be emailed to me, but they never were. My husband also asked after the surgery and they told him they would be emailed as well (they were not). I had to call afterward to request them again. Most of my post-op check-ins were not done by Dr. McCormack but instead by her nurse/PA, and unfortunately, I did not feel they were very helpful or knowledgeable. The guidance felt limited, and I often left feeling unsure and unsupported. When I shared my concerns with Dr. McCormack directly, she seemed dismissive and mentioned in my notes her nurse wrote that I did not follow post op instructions (maybe because I didn't receive them). She lacked empathy for my bad experience and did not offer any solutions for her team's lack of professionalism. Additionally, the front desk staff was not friendly or inviting, which added to the overall disappointing experience. Based on my full experience, I would not recommend getting a breast augmentation here. I've since shared my story with a few people and, unfortunately, learned that I was not the only one who had a terrible experience many of my acquaintances have as well.

Recently my skin broke out and I was left with a lot of acne scars. Loretta took the time to ask me questions about my skin so she could give me the treatment that best suited my skin. She decided on the blueberry jessner peel. She explained all the steps of the peel and always made sure I was comfortable before continuing onto the next step. Her space is super clean and simple. Located inside a small house it certainly has its charm. Her table contours your body instead of those flat ones that most aestheticians have. There's soft music that plays in the background as well. All her products are plant based and she explained to me how instead of working against your skin they work with your skin to provide the best results. The peel itself felt a lot like a facial but with more products that tingled. Duh it's a peel! She used red light on my problem areas and did extractions as well. After she was done, my face was super clean and felt tight. She explained to me how my skin will probably feel dry, be red, and that my skin might be flakey (but not actually peel) in three days. She provided me with tips on how to take care of my skin and what to expect in the next few days as the peel does it's thing. Overall I am super satisfied with her service. This is a really nice spa! For some reason I don't think of Reno as somewhere to go for a spa. It…read moresounds like there is definitely a lot of comparison between Spa Atlantis and Spa Toscano. We used SpaFinder giftcards from Costco where it's two $50 gift cards for $80, which Spa Atlantis accepts. Despite the giftcards stating that you must print them out, electronic copies are accepted. They do tell you to arrive ahead of your massage appointment so that they can give you a tour and get you situated. At the check-in desk, they asked for robe and shoe size. They then lead you to the locker room to put your stuff in. The lockers are quite spacious so you can bring many things, including your clothes, shoes, and something to do like reading a book. Overall, the spa is very clean and well kept. They have everything you need to get ready in the locker/bathroom area, including brushes, combs, hair styling products, curling irons, blow dryers, Q-tips. They also offer a salt scrub. They have four showers you can use, including an accessible one. The interesting thing to note about the showers is that one of the non-accessible showers does have a bend to it so that if you are nervous about someone walking into your shower for whatever reason, that is the shower to use. That shower is to the right side next to the accessible shower. They did have a sauna and a steam room in the locker area. They also have a changing area in the locker area. There is also a waiting area for your massage located in this locker area. In the waiting area, they do have some snack snacks. The snacks at the time we went included a trail mix, pretzels, with chocolate, chocolate dip, macaroons (these were so delicious), fruits (banana, bananas, pears, apples), and drink drinks (coffee, infused water, tea, water bottles). As for the massages, it seemed that the massage therapist came out about five minutes earlier than the appointment time, so it is probably best to be there just a little over five minutes before your scheduled appointment time in the waiting area. My massage therapist escorted me to a room within the spa. The massage room was very comfortable with dim lighting, and I believe they had sort of a water fountain, which was quite relaxing to hear in the background. My massage therapist was very professional and thorough with her questions to ask what were my target areas and issues. She was also very communicative with me and let me know which areas she was unable to work on due to tension in my muscles. I did end up learning more about how being ticklish is a sign of tension in a muscle, and I went down a research rabbit hole about how perhaps the deep tissue massage I opted for may not have been the best fit for that area. I am glad my massage therapist felt empowered and comfortable to communicate that with me. I could see how the massage therapist telling a client that they won't be able to work on them due to tension could be upsetting for some clients, but I was very appreciative for her feedback. There is also a warm seating area that's kind of like a sauna. It has a tiled seating area. There is also a brine room that is dark with a water fountain and different types of lights that promote different types of healing. It is very easy to nap in the brine room as it is comfortable and quiet. You can basically take any lounge chair that has a folded blanket on there because that indicates that the staff have "cleaned" it. There is also a warm pools and cold plunge area that is covered by glass, so that you're not exposed to outdoor elements with the exception of some sun. In this area, they also have a relaxing shower that has many settings that you can choose from including "relaxing" and "balancing." This shower does play some calming music and has nice lights as well. The warm pools are heated to 98°F and 101°F. In this outdoor area, they also have cold, rolled towels and sliced cucumbers for you to use. They also have clean towels. Just like the brine room, if you see, there is a smooth towel on the seat or lounger, that indicates the staff have "cleaned" the seat. You also have access to the pools area - there is one indoor pool area with a nice waterfall backdrop and one outdoor pool area. You can order food from a phone and they will bring it out to you and you pay when they deliver your food. They're also seems to be an outdoor drink stand. You can purchase drinks from the pool area is very nice as it had many loungers. There are no lifeguards on duty for any of the pool areas. The pool area is also accessible to general hotel guests. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We ended up spending about 6 hours in total at the spa, which is more than I expected! Overall, I would totally come back.

We like to go early to enjoy the amenities and we enjoyed the hot tub area which was only for 21+ but the rest of the pool/hot tub areas were extremely loud with children. It was not at all a relaxing atmosphere with the screaming kids and getting splashed by them doing cannonballs into the pool. The locker area, salt and relaxing room were not as nice as Spa Toscana either. They also do not accept Spa Finder gift cards which is what we usually use for our spa trips as well. Not a bad experience and a good second option but we prefer the Peppermill!
