How they describe themselves: The Lamb Inn is an attractively rambling building of mellow Cotswold stone, some parts are over 300 years old, with a sunny garden. Under the care and attention of Paul and Jacqueline Gabriel and their team, it is a thriving village pub as well as a haven of comfort, great food and rural peace and quiet!
My review: Well I've stayed here and to be honest I couldn't fault the food, it is par excellence in itself. the owners take pride in sourcing all their ingredients locally, therefore the food tends to be seasonal. During our stay we tried to order something different at each sitting, which was difficult as the previous meal was so nice it made you want to order it again. The service is relaxed, friendly and attentive and they will bend over backwards to ensure you enjoy food. If you are touring this area, i strongly recommend eating here, but be warned it is very popular with the locals as well, so I recommend you book first. read more
