After an unexpected stop at Lagoon Saloon I'm upgrading my last review. The OG's are back! The Original Girls, who take pride in their work and enjoy their jobs, have helped this little river spot get back to what it was and more. Lagoon Saloon has cleaned inside and remodeled their outside bar to make it more seasonal. And they have new menus with the "real" prices. I will definitely be back to enjoy their great pizza. read more

The food was very good. I got a burger and it was cooked perfectly! The service was good when it occurred. Our waitress was also the bartender so she was pulled into to many directions which lowered her visits to our table to 3. The ambiance inside looked amazing, however we sat outside right off the restaurant and the floor was very dirty (maybe only noticed because my son kept dropping his toys and paci) as well as spiders coming down multiple times during dinner to visit us. I think it's an okay option but would have tried to look further if time wasn't restricting. The water was super beautiful though! read more

The food is yummy. I haven't found anything I've ordered nothing less than delicious. I'd rank it the best pizza in town. There's a great Pizza Buffet at lunch on Tuesday. The service is always kind & friendly. The atmosphere is fun & reminds me of "Cheers" from the '80's TV sitcom. However, no Norm sitting at the end of the bar or Cliff the letter carrier but there're boaters in the summer. The outdoor area is very nice & family friendly with plenty of dock space for your water craft. read more

Stopped for lunch by boat which was so fun! It sure seems like a popular spot as they were packed. We were happy to get a table, though we did sorta bus it ourselves. The service was as efficient as it could be due to the amount of people in there. It took close to an hour to get our food. 2 phillys & 2 wraps, a round of drinks which we did get right away, thankfully ;) The food was pretty good ( huge sandwiches ) and a giant order of fresh cut fries! Forgot to take pics again! Would we go back? It's a yes, especially by boat! read more

Absolutely no service! First time trying this spot. Place was busy- 1 bartender and 2 servers. Husband and I sat at the bar for over 15 minutes before we walked out. Not one employee acknowledged us, didn't even make eye contact. Clearly mismanaged. Such a shame since it's a nice location. Will never be back again. read more

We were staying close by and were looking for a decent place for lunch. This located outside of town, but convenient to where we were staying. Decent prices and the food was good. Good sized sandwiches that tasted fine. I liked the home fries with my veal sandwich, the wife got the pizza sub and enjoyed it. read more

Thought I would try the lagoon last week as I have not been there in the last 2 years due to poor experience.... Well.. nothing had changed ! Went to order a pizza, bartender gave me a menu that was old, ripped, and dirty.. Ordered a pizza with 1 topping (half sausage, half pepperoni) order of small fries, and 2 beers.. Pizza was ok (not cut very even down the middle), fresh cut fries were good and hot, and the bush lights were cold ! Received the check and WOW !!!! All the prices were different than what was stated on the menu.. I brought this to the attention of the bartender and she said "the owner didn't want to pay for new menu's ".... She said the prices were posted... I said where?? She pulled a card from behind the bar and said to download the QR code to reveal the prices (she should have said that before I ordered !). Pizza was more, she charged me for 2 toppings( we had 1 half and half), fries and beers were a lot more I thought $29.00 for 1 pizza, small fries, 2 bush lights was way overpriced !!!! Bartender was rude when I brought this to her attention, didn't care, so they got me again .., paid the bill and left !!!! It' use to be a great place to stop if you're boating or by car, ( use to stop there all summer long) but will not go back until I hear that there is a new owner, or new management, because the current staff doesn't care !! read more

This place looks like it sounds. Right by some local docks. Place doesn't look like much. But let me tell you. It was packed. And everyone was eating drinking and looked happy. It's just a lake bar with some large would tables and a couple TVs. The staff was polite and friendly. Our food was prepared relatively quickly. The pizza is way way better than I ever expected. The mini tacos were not just cute but good. That pizza also heated up well the next day! read more

Only reason I gave two stars was because of the wonderful location and view. My fiancé and I ordered some wings and a Philly cheesesteak. The wings were way over cooked and they didn't even put the sauce on them. They were terrible! The sandwich was meh. Instructions on toppings were messed up and really was not very good. Only reason I can see that people would go there is to drink and for the view. Definitely not for the food. read more

The yellow perch sandwich was decent (7/10) but they didn't follow my instructions for toppings, meaning the garlic parmesan flavor of the breading was not discernible and only got one tomato when I asked for extra. Ginger beer was good--but Crabbie's has ginger flavor added apparently, not a truly ginger-brewed? My girlfriend's food was mediocre: uninspired chicken fingers and almost soggy fries. The breaded fried mushroom app was pretty good, a solid 7/10, but nothing special in the breading. The inattentive waitress was the worse part. So only checked in on us 3x in an over an hour stay. Good place to chill out and grab a pizza and a beer. Pizza and subs are pretty good. Like it best when owner first took over, place has gone down a little as of late. Prices continue to rise and service has gotten a little slow. Go in once you may feel out of place.....go in a little more often you will feel at home. read more

Stopped in for a quick meal with a few friends before staying at a buddy's house nearby. It's a very cool little local spot with a fantastic atmosphere. Had a pizza and a burger and all the food was fantastic. There is a nice view of the water on the patio and great music. All round great experience! read more

I would give them a zero if I could. Service was horrible! We ordered and watched 2 other tables next to us get served when they ordered after us. We asked for a manger and they sent a meathead from the bar to come out and threaten us. Never did see a manager. read more

The pizzas are delicious. A dive for sure so don't expect extravagant decor but for what it is it's a nice hole in the wall.

Hubby and I like to randomly find new places to eat. On a whim, he said we should go to Port Clinton..at 5 pm on Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. It's about an hour drive for us. I pulled up the Yelp app on the way and found this awesome place. Price point is spot on, not like most of the other places up there. Food was great and huge portions. Staff was very friendly, especially for being slammed with holiday customers all day. Higly recommend. We will visit again. read more

Pretty inexpensive. Pizza was a little burnt but drinks were good. A wider selections draft beer would also be good.

Good food and even better prices. Chicken philly was tasty. No liquor on Sundays but they still serve beer.
