They had only two tables free for our party of two, and we chose one up top. It turned out we sat side by side, with an amazing view overlooking the staircase and the main dining room. This enabled us to scout out the food that looked good, too, and it turned out they had a lot of awesome-looking food! We had impeccable service from Noah. The dining room was PACKED but we were never left wanting for anything, and every interaction was friendly and helpful. I wish more restaurants had service of this caliber! We started off with a Wisconsin old fashioned and a Brussels sprouts appetizer. The drink was great, and we were both really impressed with the amount and flavor of the Brussels sprouts. I then ordered a Caramel Confessions drink, which was sweet and amazing (I saved some for the end, as my dessert) while my husband had a local beer. For our main dish, we split the YOLO pizza, what they called the meat lovers'. It was delicious. I'm a bread snob, and I make my own pizza dough, and their crust as fantastic with good chewiness. Toppings were plentiful, and the cheese even had a great pull. We were full after that. Really, just a fantastic place in every way. I'd be happy to come here again on another visit to the area.

At 11:30 p.m. still no band, when I asked the owner Cindy about not hearing a band, she was very rude and told me " well you heard music didn't you" After I stated this would be a good yelp review and that I was leaving and only after that was I offered my money back. I saw a lot of martinis and cocktails coming out of the bar. There are waitresses, but it looked like just 1 bartender. She was BUSY! Waitresses were just standing there while the 1 'tender was working her ass off. We sat at the bar and barely got service because she was so busy. I of course don't know how the place works, but it seems like someone could have helped her. We only stayed for 1 beer and left because we couldn't get any of the bartender's time. It would be a cool place to hang if maybe we sat at a table. (I felt out of place being in my Packer's gear.) I see they do live jazz music. That might be worth going back for someday.

She had to go get another host to come point our name out. After finally being seated. Our waitress took our order right away. We were the only diners and came along 2 other tables. Le Cave was quite busy so it took a while for us to get our two drinks. We finally got our food after a little over an hour. My husband got the lamb wellington but they didn't have lamb and offered beef instead. The sauce was overly salted. So i couldn't try more than the tiny bite i took. I got The lobster risotto. It had mixed reviews but i thought i would try it and have my own judgement. It was also the waitresses favorite. I will say, the herbs in the risotto was over powering and the lobster which was supposed to be poached tasted grilled and was over cooked. Like many other reviews, i couldn't cut it with my butter knife. Perhaps a steak knife would've helped. But it still doesn't help the fact that it was over cooked. The side of butter was unnecessary as everything was too flavorful. And the edamames were just a tad bit too much. Escargot was over cooked. The herb butter was flavorless. We were very disappointed as this was what we were looking forward to the most. Fois gre was ok. $200 dinner and we were not impressed. But it was worth a try.
