And this is particularly true of Lynn's. What attracted me the first time was seeing the spinning globes on display in the window. These decorative items suitable for a table, desk or shelf were unlike anything I'd seen before. Without a visible power source they appeared to rotate indefinitely as if propelled by some perpetual motion machine. In fact, the globes are actually powered by light, and they are fascinating to watch. But as intriguing as these were, they were not the reason I returned to this store. My return visits were prompted by Lynn herself. This is a lady who truly loves what she does and loves the customers she services. A visit to Lynn's is like stopping by to visit an old friend. You'll end up swapping stories about what is going on in your lives and while away several pleasant minutes in conversation. And even if you leave the shop without a purchase, you will think it was time well spent. Of course Lynn will be happier if you do buy some of the several unique and wonderful items available. But I suspect that she won't be all that disappointed if you don't. This is a lady who is in the people business first and the retail business a distant second. If you're anywhere near Lafayette, New Jersey, stop in for a healthy dose of good old country charm. I promise you won't regret it. I know I'll be back!

Love their "Goat themed" items such as chocolates, clothing, kitchen supplies and much more.... The Beekman Bath and Body "Goat Milk" products are available too! The Shoppe is quite extensive with two floors. We walked up to the second floor. I can't even count the number of cute gift rooms we walk through. It seemed endless. LOL... You can definitely pick up a cute gift for most anyone. The woman behind the counter were very nice. The shop is located at 103 Rt.15 in Lafayette, NJ. Trust me, you can't miss the shop when driving on Rt. 15. Parking is available in the entire area.

It is a multi-dealer site that offers quality antiques at reasonable prices. Some of the dealer specialize - there is an antique toy dealer, and an architectural antique dealer. I have been shopping at this store for over 20 years an every time I got there I find a new treasure. My best find was a genuine Gustav Stickley China cabinet in mint condition and at a great price. This dealer is in a beautiful area, and is surrounded by other antique stores. It's a great drive there and a wonderful way to spend the day.

We attended their outdoor market this morning to see what they were about and decide if we wanted to vend. My sister and I wound up waiting for some time for one of the front vendors on the hill to get back from 'shopping' (as we heard) and left her booth unattended. We both wanted to buy several items which weren't ticketed in price but the woman was MIA. We also witnessed another couple waiting 2 times for at least 10-15 min at a time asking other vendors when this vendor might be back for a price. A pleasant older gentleman vendor from The booth nearby tried to find her for them but they continued to wait as we walked away. A couple mins later we came back as we saw the vendor had returned after shopping and leaving her table unattended. How unprofessional!! We witnessed said vendor being very rude to the couple who was simply asking what her best price was on 2 items.. after politely waiting for her shopping spree to commence for 20 min might I add!!..basically calling them cheap in a polite way and claiming they were trying to rip her off. Being flabbergasted, We promptly walked away from this vendor and proceeded to shop from a couple more vendors before leaving. (Who were a bit more cordial and welcoming of haggling unlike the earlier vendor appeared to be! ) still we decided we won't be back as what we saw from our first impression of this vendor could not be unseen. Thanks for listening to an older woman's perspective on a local business.
